Adorable Historic in the ❤️ of St. Charles

Loved how close to the historic district it is!

Beautiful historic home. Lots of character, decor is so pretty! Room pictures are deceiving as the third sleeping space has to be the living room, which is fine if you don’t mind moving some furniture. The location is great and area has so much to see! The neighborhood is great for walks, gazebo perfect for coffee. Matt was responsive with any issues we had.

Great historic house! A little further away from St Louis than I expected but great neighborhood and lots of food option around. Amazing to be able to stay in something that was built in the 1800’s!

St. Charles is such a cute town, and the main street is located very close to this VRBO. Very family friendly place to visit. Matt responded quickly with any necessary communication while we were there.

This unit is only a 15 minute walk from Main Street . It was very quiet. We brought our two grandchildren, they slept upstairs and we were down stairs. The unit itself is quiet . I went to bed and my busies watching the tv and I could not hear it in the bed room.

Great location. Charming little house. Don’t believe photos- truly just a two bedroom but do have folding beds for living room - which is really tight but we made it work. Loved the time spend with brothers and their spouse's talking and playing games around large dining table. Would definitely rent again but probably not for 6 adults!! Very quiet neighborhood.

Matt was an amazing host! We had the most amazing time at his quaint charming retro yet modern cozy home. Every single detail was thought of throughout the stay and was so appreciated. Spotless home, modern with epic retro vibes. Only wish we had the weather to have a chill in the gazebo:) incredible stay!!! Would most def love to come back !!!! Came w our 2 kids and Matt put games out for them and goodies too:) and shoveled the walkway! Incredible hidden gem right near historic Main Street and half hour from famous stl attractions! Thank you Matt!

The house had everything we needed and when we did encounter an issue Matt was super quick to respond. The house is historic and older so just know what to expect when you arrive. The cots count has sleeping two and don’t think that would work unless you had little kids. Good location and worked for what we needed

We absolutely loved our stay! Matt was super responsive and the house was so cute and perfect for our little Thanksgiving get away. We had everything we needed even when it snowed unexpectedly! We will definitely stay here again!

This cute, clean, well stocked, historic home is within walking distance to Historic Main Street. The hosts are immediately responsive and provided a very nice coffee bar. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Loved the gazebo for morning coffee. The area is very nice and quiet with charming old homes.

We loved the house. Just a few things but nothing horrible. Mosquitos were bad and had to purchase bug spray. The vent in the living area needs one to fit. Someone's foot fell in it trying to open the blind. Need more plugins for phones, maybe a charging station. Overall, it was beautiful and would stay again.

We stayed in this house for a short weekend and it was nicely cared for and conveniently located.

The Host is A1. Mr. Matt text once I booked and again once I arrived. Beautiful home.

The house is charming, late 18th century, in a lovely neighborhood. Queen beds only accessible from one side due to being against walls on both levels. Additional towels required search, and limited for kitchen. Listing has occupancy as 7 - but insufficient 3 piece silverware for one full meal for that number, so washing required even if only 4 for 2 meals a day.. Kitchen cookware quite adequate but preparation bowls and storage boxes are limited. Charming holiday decorations, placemats, etc, but using rollaways for 2 would be tight and only space by rearranging living room. Lovely gazebo and patio but this was Christmas week so too cold. Historic St. Charles walkable, but uphill for a couple blocks. One parking spot, but there is street parking too..

We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping & neighborhood were beautiful! The gazebo was a big plus. The home decor made it a comfortable place to spend time relaxing when not out and about. We did not cook, so have no comments on the kitchen facilities. This is a great home, could use some TLC and outdoor seasonal maintenance. New living room seating would make this rental a 10/10+! Would stay again, and recommend!

We loved this cute little house in St. Charles. We were in town visiting friends and it was the perfect place for our family to stay. We really appreciated the driveway for parking our vehicle. The place could use a deep cleaning. My toddler kept finding small things in the living room carpet: a super tiny lego piece, something that looked like the piece of a streamer.. etc. It's a thick carpet so maybe the vacuum cleaner they use just doesn't get the job done. Also, the keurig coffee machine needs to be cleaned, it had alot of water scale build-up.. still probably better than what you would find in most hotels.

My husband and I were in the area to visit my corporate office and the location of the house was only 13 minutes away. Very convenient. The house was clean and comfortable. The house is old but very charming. Nice neighborhood. The host was very responsive when I asked simple questions. We would stay again

Great little house perfect for 2 couples. Loved walking to coffee, lunch and dinner! Loved the e-bikes. We rode them until they ran out of battery. Excellent communication with host. Would definitely recommend.
