Adorable Guest House walking distance to Historic St. Augustine!

The Uptown Shack is perfect for couples visiting historic St. Augustine! Everything was just as described, and the hosts went above and beyond. We would absolutely come back.

What a wonderful, quaint retreat! Our stay was comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The Shack was within walking distance to everything as well. Our hosts Melody and Ali were charming. Highly recommend.

Our host Melody was phenomenal. Responded swiftly to all our questions, made check in and check out a breeze, and fully stocked the kitchen and bathroom with necessities to make us feel at home. The guest house is beautifully kept, clean and quiet! Especially loved lounging in the comfy robes. We had a blast!

This place did not disappoint in any way. It was clean, fresh, quiet and inviting. Their descriptions of their place and the proximity to downtown was accurate. They had so many nice extra touches that set a very high bar for other rentals. We were delighted with our stay and will look for this location again when we return.

Our stay at the Adorable Guest House in historic St. Augustine was such a great experience. The location couldn’t have been better, close to everything we wanted to see while still feeling peaceful and tucked away.The home itself was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt welcoming right away, and you could tell a lot of care went into the details.Although I didn’t get the chance to meet Ali and Melody in person, their communication was incredibly warm and inviting from start to finish. They made everything easy and stress-free.One of the sweetest touches was the complimentary sample of honey from their bee farm, such a unique and memorable bonus. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

Everything about the Uptown Shack was excellent, including the listing which is quite accurate. It is within walking distance to the historic area, and is fully equipped for serving your own breakfast and lunch. We definitely will return when we visit the area.

This home is beautiful. So much attention to details. Little touches like wirelss phone chargers, coffee pods for Kureg, special little gifts and treats. Perfect location to everything. Communication was outstanding. Thank you Melody and Ali for a fabulous few days. Will be back‼

The guest house is adorable! The perfect amount of space for us. So clean and so pretty! Although we didn’t get to meet Melody and Ali, they were very responsive and helpful. We had to extend our stay due to the weather at home and they couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating! Will come back again and again and highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding stay! We booked this home for visiting family so they could be close by, and it could not have been more perfect. The space is beautifully modern, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable — truly felt like a high-end, thoughtfully designed retreat. Every detail was spot-on and clearly well cared for. My daughter and I stayed in the Uptown Shack. It was so nice and clean! It was beautifully decorated! The bed was very comfortable. Our host, Melody, sent clear instructions and directions. She greeted us when we arrived. She also made homemade cookies for us and left us some of their local honey. There were snacks and drinks available to us in the rental. It was walkable to all of the things we wanted to do in St. Augustine. We loved this rental and would definitely stay again!!

Everything was perfect from the decorations, the cleanliness, and the location. We were able to walk to everything had a great time. We will definitely stay here next time we visit. They also included very clear directions to get to the rental and checkout was super easy.

This is a perfect location to explore St. Augustine. It is a quiet location but within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and great restaurants. The home is stunning, the hosts were so friendly and you can’t beat the location with its proximity (5-10 minutes walk) to downtown St. Augustine. Very enjoyable. The property was top notch.

We loved the condo. It was very clean and the local was close enough to walk to historic areas. The only thing we didn’t care for was the scented products in the condo. We both have allergies and we didn’t react well to the perfume smell.

Cute & cozy guest house. Short walking distance to St George Street and downtown St Augustine. 15 min drive to Vilano beach. Lots of yummy restaurants near by. We would recommend The Columbia Restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation if you’re going for dinner on a weekend. Would recommend this place for a nice little getaway!

A very very clean, high end place. All appliances are wonderful. The bed was so comfortable. Our host, Melody, baked us delicious cookies and greeted us. The refrigerator was stocked with water and few other drinks. There was a basket of different chips. I described it as “perfect”

We booked last minute and it was perfect. Short walk to downtown and some great restaurants. Melody was wonderful to communicate with. The apartment was clean and so nicely furnished. We will book again on our next trip to St. Augustine.

The guest book's earlier entries were from 2018. We were surprised because the guest house is so pristine that we thought it was brand new construction. The towels and robes are plush and ultra soft. There are thoughtful touches like snacks in the kitchen and candies by the bed. Melody was welcoming, friendly, and responded quickly to every inquiry. Location is an easy walk to the historic section of town. We would absolutely choose this Adorable Guest House again.

Took my girlfriend here to propose. Upon arrival to the house there was a nice welcoming note, fresh baked cookies that were excellent, and very well maintained property inside and out. They answered any questions in a very quick manner, and gave a lot of help with their recommendation book located onsite. This property is very close to all the attractions and will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. One of the cleanest properties I've stayed at for a rental.

We have never stayed in a rental as updated, clean, upscale amenities , and welcoming. They provided everything and more including homemade cookies. The bed is very comfortable too. In addition it’s walking distance to everything St. Augustine has to offer. Great hostess. Very easy check in with clear directions from Melody. Highly recommend for visiting St Augustine.

It is a great location to stay if you are wanting to walk around St Augustine. Driving and parking uptown is a bit crazy and something we wanted to avoid. The property is close enough to town to comfortably walk but far enough to not be noisy. The property is very well taken care of and clean.

Perfect place to stay for enjoying the Christmas lights and great food in St Augustine. Everything was in walking distance for us and it was great to escape back to the quiet, peaceful neighborhood of the “Uptown Shack”. Would highly recommend!

I have rented many places over the years and this place takes the #1 spot. Melody and Alli were welcoming and happy to have us. The thought and attention to detail they put into this space and your rental experience is top notch. We were a short walk to the heart of historic St Augustine. We were able to walk to all attractions and restaurants. In a 4 night stay we only moved the car once and that was to drive to the lighthouse and beach on our last day.

The owners have thought of everything! Comfy bed, remote shade on windows, phone chargers next to the bed, fluffy towels, and even a treat of chocolate chip cookies. We walked to restaurants and shops. Lovely weekend in St Augustine and would stay here again.
