Great value and location
Quaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay.
I appreciated a clean cottage with no “bugs” or spiders! I loved all the fresh clean towels provided and the good lighting in the cottage. They could use a new refrigerator.
Cute place to rest and relax.
The cottage is full of worn out stuff & it needs a thorough cleaning, in & out! No wifi our entire stay despite our numerous calls. They did give us a discount for that inconvenience. Our big dog was comfortable at this rough little place.
Explanation as to which unit was ours was confusing and poorly written. When we finally found a number to call, the key pad didn’t work and they had to give us an alternative code. The front porch was super dirty as were the chairs. The fold out couch inside was old and the work out so the springs on it were uncomfortable to sleep on. The comforter on the main bed looked like it hadn’t been washed and it had dried on food still on it.
Very enjoyable!
The cottage is charming and a great location. However, it didn't seem very clean. For example; there was dirt accumulated on the window shower of the bathroom - it was pretty obvious. Also, it states fully equipped kitchen but there is no non-stick skillet and only 3 forks. I think a non-stick skillet is the most basic pan needed in any kitchen. The interior furniture is a tad shabby but comfortable. We did enjoy our stay - just some observations for you to note.
This little cottage was unique, filled w/ kitchen supplies & a comfy King bed. It’s not too far from shared pool. Plus it’s nice & cool!
