Adorable cottage in the Michiana Shores area! Close to Lake Michigan and Dunes

Everything was lovely. Perfect home for a weekend getaway!

Host was responsive. Good communication. Very clean with open concept. Area was quiet. A really great weekend getaway. Cozy and relaxing. Could use a more comfortable couch in living area, but not disappointed.

Such a complete cozy, comfy and relaxing experience for our family of 5. We felt very welcomed! Love from Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio.

We received a call and told the unit we reserved was not ready and were moved to another one. Upon arriving it appeared pretty much the same except this unit appeared handicap accessible with a ramp coming off the driveway which was nice while unloading the car. The unit was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen if you are wanting to prepare a meal it has everything needed. The beds were comfortable, and the outdoor area was nice. Remember to pack toiletries I forgot mine and there were none available in the shower to get started with. There is a supermarket close by that carries everything you may need. The unit was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay, thank you. If we ever decide to return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

All the amenities were easily accessible. The rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms were more than adequate. Closet space was adequate as well! Overall, a very nice place to stay!

House was as advertised...no surprises. Just wished we had more time to explore the area. For future renters would highly recommend Randy's dinner. It is very close by, great food and good size portions. We would book again and for longer.

Great home! Very clean. Kitchen was well supplied as well as bathrooms. This home is in a nice quiet location. The screened in back porch is a wonderful space for your morning coffee or for relaxing at the end of the day. We would definitely come back to this home again.

Lovely cottage and location. Could have been a little more generous w/ staples such as tp, paper towels (requested more and it was provided), coffee filters, sugar packets, washcloths (one per adult for 5 days; we did use washcloths in other bedrooms since we didn't bring guests). Constant feeling of having to skimp. I know there must be a balance so people don't take home extras; not sure how this could be handled differently but did not like that not barely enough feeling.

This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at. The house was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. There were lots of little perks, like providing chairs and a wagon for use at the beach, plenty of extra blankets and lots of board games. All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There was a nice enclosed porch on the back part of the house that was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and a nice fire pit that we would’ve used if it hadn’t rained. This would be a great stay for families. There was a high chair at the house and the closet in the master bedroom had plenty of space to put a pack n play, maybe even two. The house is within driving distance of many different attractions and there is a grocery store just a few minutes down the road.The *only* negative I would share is that I had to message the owner for the house code while en route, but they were very quick to respond and very accommodating so I wouldn’t even call that a negative. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend!!!

We had a great time. The house had everything we needed to cook and was close to a lot of things we wanted to do.

This is a really cute cottage and has plenty of space, nice size bedrooms, bathrooms, closets etc. Games, books etc which are nice too. Only reasons to give 4 instead of 5 stars is the primary bedroom bed and pillows have all seen better days. There were some crumbs in the utensil drawer which is the case at most rentals, but still icky. I would recommend/rebook but just probably bring my own pillow next time!

Great location adorable house, loved the decor along with the screened in porch.Minutes away from the beaches, and downtown New Buffalo.The host was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating.

The hosts supplied everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this cottage and these hosts!

All good. One minor item - the outdoor grill is “camping stove sized” and we would have grilled but it was too small and awkward. We didn’t cook in the unit - only used the coffee maker and toaster and microwave and washer/dryer. Those were all solid. The A/C in the unit worked great. Everything for the beach is there. It’s an 18 minute walk to the public/glorious beach. We were happy to walk it. But note there there is no parking at the beach and that it’s a short metal staircase down for anyone who has difficulty with that. All in all a nice rental. And the lake (what we came for) was in its summer best! (Water hit 76F the past couple of days.)

This house and yard are beautifully appointed. The living space has wonderful features, comfortable furniturec and a kitchen with all that one needs. Beds and baths are comfy. The outdoor spaces are wonderful and we loved the screen porch. Nice neighbors, too. Saw many deer and a woodpecker! Easy access to the dunes!

House is perfectly laid out and about a mile from the beach - beautiful walk or 2 minute car ride. I would stay here again.

Exceeded expectations.

I wish I could give more stars. This is probably the most comfortable house I've ever rented over the years. Nicely decorated with simple but good taste. Conveniently organized, well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed including the Keurig coffee maker. My daughter rented this house last year and was in the house next door with her family this time. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Beautiful home...It was close to all the places we wanted to see.

The house was adorable. Everything we needed for a nice getaway. Beds are very soft (if you like soft). The couch was hard and uncomfortable. Still rate this house high because in the summer time you probably wouldn’t spend much time on the couch, but we were there in fall and it was too cold to sit on the porch or outside. I would recommend this house.

This property was nice, relaxing, and clean. The backyard was perfect with a firepit to sit by and take in the outdoors. Overall, the property was a stay again in the future. Definitely recommend to future seekers in need of a great stay, nice host, communicates swiftly, and no complaints.

Check in was super easy. The owner even arranged for us to enter a bit early. We were 4 adults, 2 in the king and 1 in each of the other queens. Plenty of space. Enjoyed the cornhole game but didn't have time to play Yahtzee. Much appreciated!

From the location of the house, to the house itself, to the beach that was like paradise….I couldn’t review harder! Would love to make this an annual thing!

Me and the girls stayed here to visit the beach at Washington Park. Loved the house and the decor. Loved that the owners had a couple of beach chairs and a wagon for us to use. The house sits very close to train tracks, so if you don’t like hearing train horns, you’ll want a different location. I actually loved hearing the trains. We were visited by several deer over the few days we were there. They came up pretty close to the house because someone put food out for them in the lot next to the house. I would definitely stay here again. The only disappointment was that the original listing said there was a hot tub; I didn’t see a picture of it, so I messaged the owner and was told there was no hot tub. Bummer, but we probably wouldn’t have had time to use it anyway.

Everything as advertised and as expected. Had some games and toddler items included (high chair and a portable crib), which was useful for us. We had no need to talk with the host, but they live around the corner so suspect they'd be very responsive. Location has easy access to many things, and about 20 minutes walk for beach access.

The house was excellent and it’s just minutes from what you might want to see. My family and I really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful home! 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Modern conveniences, spacious, perfect for our family! Plenty of parking and quiet neighborhood close to beach! Would highly recommend staying here!
