Stayed Oct 22, 2021This was a very nice older place to stay. Close to everything in Manteo. Peaceful neighborhood. The place does need some maintenance, master bedroom floor needs replacement .

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Clean and comfortable! We loved staying here. The master suite was surprisingly roomy and nice for a home of this age. Nice front porch for sitting and reading.

Stayed Jul 17, 2021I’m not sure what is cuter, this house or the town it’s in. I love the Mayberry feel of Manteo. It’s a sweet walking town with plenty to do and see. The house is historic and charming. The rooms are smaller, but we didn’t mind. The kitchen and eating area are the biggest part of the home and it has a nice sized fenced in yard in the back. You’ll love the outdoor porches. The outdoor shower was a nice surprise. I would gladly rent this home again.

Stayed Jul 5, 2021Well appointed, everything we needed. Lovely historic home with nice updates. Comfortable and convenient. All bedrooms are upstairs, which you may want to consider if stairs are a obstacle anyone in your party.

Stayed Jun 12, 2021This historic home in downtown Manteo is spacious enough for a family of 6. It’s within walking distance of shops and restaurants as well as to the waterfront & Roanoke Island Festival Park. We really enjoyed spending time on the front porch at the house! We had a great week and wonderful memories!
