Adirondack Elegance | Walk to town/ Close to Mirror Lake!

Great location. Plenty of space for our group of friends, family, adults and kids. Great water pressure.

My friends, family, and I stayed there for 4 days and it was amazing. Plenty of room, quiet location, and short 2 minute drive to downtown. 10/10 recommend!

We had an opportunity to gather together when my twin brother came into town and chose this place as a central location to meet. We couldn’t have been happier! The house was beautiful and perfect for a gathering of family members of different ages, especially teenagers! Everyone from the front staff to the online communication process and check-in and check out couldn’t have been easier. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in an exquisitely remodeled home while spending time with family.

Our stay over president’s weekend was great! The house was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for our annual long weekend getaway to Lake Placid. It was well kept and after getting 15 inches of snow one night the owner was sure we were plowed out in order to get to snowmobiling in time. House was very clean, relatively up to date (definitely cabin decor) and fully stocked. Would stay again!!

Participated in an open swim event in Mirror Lake. The house was close to the venue and town. Well appointed.

What an amazing house, home is very well cared for and everything works perfectly! Looks just like the pictures and was as described. We were especially impressed with how clean the house was. We made a big dinner and were delighted to find the kitchen was well outfitted beyond what I have come to expect from vacation rentals! With the 3 levels everyone had plenty of space to spread out and do their own thing; but the great room could easily accommodate all of us when it was time to hang out together. With the bunk room in the lower level and the size of the kitchen and great room this is the perfect house if you have a larger group. Walking into town was easy and is definitely a big perk of this location. House is set back from the road so felt very private. Management was very responsive

We had an excellent stay at this lovely home in Lake Placid! The location is perfect - quiet and plenty of privacy but right next to the lake and a nice, easy walk to town for restaurants and shopping. But we also liked staying in since the house was great for a crowd, with plenty of beds and lots of room to spread out and enjoy activities (especially the pool table!). We loved the cozy fireplace, well stocked kitchen and big dining table. I was most impressed with how clean everything was, just like the pictures! The host was also extremely responsive and helpful when we asked a few questions about the house and for recommendations in the area. Overall, this was probably the best experience we’ve had with a house rental, and we can’t wait to come back!

A lovely Adirondack house . Very comfortable accommodations with a great game room ! A little pool or foosball anyone? The proximity to Mirror Lake is a huge plus can walk to town or just enjoy the surroundings. Would be great to skate or snow shoe in the Winter . Stop at the Cottage across the way. Close to Whiteface and this place can accommodate a crew to enjoy a fall excursion, ski weekend etc. Take advantage of I love New York packages. I would definitely stay here again!

I am so glad I picked Adirondack Elegance/Robyn's Nest for our family gathering! It was exactly what we needed and so much more! The location is perfect;close to the village; easy walk around the lake; close to attractions in the village but yet out of the frey and a quick ride to Whiteface! The three levels were perfect; we could all gather comfortably together in the great room and then disburse to separate areas. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with many extra items such as spices, oils, coffee, tea, etc. Lastly and the most important, it was very very clean and I am a picky person. We hated to leave and will definately stay there again! Highly recommend!
