Aaron's Beach House - NEWly Renovated Private home with a 5 min walk to beach

Conveniently located close to beaches and Hilo. Very clean house, comfy beds, and fully equipped kitchen. We appreciated air conditioning and washer/dryer. Everything was perfect.

The rental was perfect for our needs. Comfortable and nice location.

The house was great. We only saw one bug, but that's just because there was no caulking around the pipes going through walls in the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than that the location is perfect. All the amenities in the house are just what you need. The walk to the 'Secret' beach is convenient and fun for the kids. The beach itself is like something out of a movie. Then you still have Carl Smith and Richardson beaches just minutes down the street. You really can't beat that. Will rent again in the near future. Thank you.

This place is located in a very quiet neighborhood, the only thing you hear is nature. If ever we are on the Hilo side we will stay here again.

Loved it. I live in Hawaii. Family came to run in the 1:2 marathon in Hilo. Close to everything, but quiet and relaxing. Baby beach was wonderful.

The nicely appointed cottage is just out of the downtown in a quiet neighborhood on the ocean. You can hear the ocean but can't see it, just a 2 minute walk to sea turtles on a beach! Super clean, nice linens, all updated everything. Host was very responsive and had on-site staff to assist when needed. The lanai is a great place to watch birds, including the extremely rare Hawaiian Golden Hawk! Only suggestion would be to make sure the fans work as only 2 out of 5 worked for us. We'd rather use fans than A/C. Each room has A/C so if that's your preference. We plan on returning! Mahalo Robert and Jomo!

I take issue with the description being 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is not accessible from inside the house. It's in a dank basement area and it smells. Pros: Close to a beautiful beach area Quiet Newly remodeled finishes Owner is responsive Cons: 2 usable bedrooms for families Minor cleaning issues -- some dirty surfaces, missed details Cockroaches Smaller than we expected Tiny sofa

Great location with the backyard as your beach. The host was accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. Feedback: toaster had crumbs on it upon arrival, couch was not comfortable, bar stools were worn out and also not comfortable ,no dust pan and downstairs room was slightly dingy and kitchen appliances dusty. The good: location, air conditioning was perfect, communication with property manager was great, had enough towels/beach, had beach equipment available to use and was overall generally clean. Overall a decent place to stay.
