Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house did not disappoint. Looks just like the pictures and delivers on ambiance. It was clean and tidy, with lots of throw blankets to cuddle up under. Great for families or couples. The only thing we missed was shampoo and conditioner - we were told they would be there, but we couldn't find any. Also, very short driveway, so be aware.

First of all the views were spectacular ! Deer everywhere so be careful. Listening to the waves crash on the shore from the deck was very relaxing. There is no cell service here much in town. Lots of free WiFi and the house is plenty strong for multiple guests. The house is equipped with everything you need and local store is close by. We traveled up and down the coast to multiple spots and location of house made it very easy. Had some late night fun evenings playing board games which there are plenty to choose from. Make sure to use the telescope in living room as you can see whales !

The house is furnished very comfortably with a large sectional couch in the living room (in front of the large fireplace) and, upstairs in the TV loft - two couches and an armchair. Perfect for a night in to watch a film. Outside on the deck are two swivel rocking chairs and a large sofa. Thick outdoor cushions are provided for those. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed with enough pots and pans to cook just about anything. There is plenty of everything in that kitchen. We loved the open concept of the living spaces. Dining table is large too. Downstairs are three cozy bedrooms. All rooms have smart TV’s, and comfortable beds. There is a shaded deck off the master bathroom and one of the guest rooms. The owner provided plenty of plush towels. A washer and dryer is conveniently located in the guest bathroom. We loved this home with its vast views of the ocean. The whales put on quite a show! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely house. The house has been very well maintained and was immaculate. Would highly recommend this house.

We spent many hours out on the deck enjoying the fantastic view and beautiful weather. We even watched a Spacex launch. The only downsides are a double bed rather than a queen in one of the bedrooms and very limited parking. We’ve already planned two more stays at this beautiful house for 2026.

The house is comfortable, nicely layed out, with awesome views of the ocean from most every room. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The location is great, in a quirt neighborhood, near the trails and close to downtown Cambria. Enjoyed our time in this house immensely; we will try to reserve Whale Watchers again next Summer.

Only slight disadvantage is the lack of parking (the garage is small and the driveway is short; don't bring a large vehicle if you can help it; there is roadside parking about 3 house lengths away). Having the bedrooms all downstairs allows family vacation mess to be contained and the main floor and loft to feel company ready and serene with three different conversation or get-away areas all with a spectacular ocean view! The decor is light and tasteful and the house was super clean and easy to keep clean. The views are truly breathtaking, and feel almost 360. We love that the television is in an adorable loft, keeping the living free for cozy nights by the fire. VERY well appointed kitchen. My husband and I both got so much work done here, and our 8-year-old loved it, too. Only notes: to walk to/from Fiscalini trailheads will mean quite a bit of uphill on the way back to the house (we loved it, fyi for any mobility issues), there is limited parking, and the dishwasher is not cabinet-installed, so a bit clunky (but totally works). Shout-out to the primary shower, including the ocean views!

Well the property was amazingly roomy for 6 people, very clean and well kept. The ocean view was fantastic.

The owners might want to be aware that the sink in the secondary bathroom has a stopper that needs repair. Also, the floor mat in the master bath is missing. It's difficult to step out onto a cold, hard tile floor after a shower. The dishwasher is unbalanced in its space making it hard to turn it on. These are minor but we thought it might be something the owners would want to know about.

We loved this house based on its location and view of the ocean. The kitchen especially is generously supplied with high end cooking equipment in addition to generous supplies provided - towels, blankets, fans, pillows, paper goods and condiments including crushed ice and coffee.The home is decorated beautifully with whale/ocean theme decor.

Daytime views of the ocean and peaceful evenings by the fireplace. We even watched whales from the living room and deck with the telescope provided by the house.
