A Wave From It All | Steps to Beach, Hot Tub!

This house has been majorly neglected in terms of maintenance. There is significant water damage to the ceilings and walls on the 2nd and 3rd floors, the ceiling in the dining room looked like it was about to fall through, doors don’t lock, the hot tub was dirty, the fridge didn’t cool until 2 days in, bath fixtures fell off the wall, the whole ceiling in one shower is covered in mold. The house is also set on an alley so the parking was difficult. The close distance to the beach was about the only plus to our stay. I have relayed all of these issues to the rental company and have heard nothing in return after our stay.

Lovely 3 story single family home, 5-10 min walk to nice deep uncrowded beach. Rental instructions/communications are very clear and accurate. Very nice seating area for family—also nice eating areas and 3-4 separate porch/deck seating areas. Nice beds, a/c, kitchen, TVs Plenty of parking. 5-15min walk to some restaurants, gift shops, small grocery store.There is needed maintenance and needed improvement in cleaning:-Nail on pavers where cars park-Package of cupcakes left in cupboard expired 4 months ago-Very sticky floor in the game room-Hornets nest on ceiling above upstairs porch swing-Very dirty air vent returns -Screw on floor by air hockey table -Door locks don’t work on many of the 2nd & 3rd floor doors-extensive Water damage on a number of the walls and ceiling-Listing Says 2 trash cans and but only 1 on premisesBetween location, spaciousness, parking—would stay here again

We are a group of 4 adults and 5 teens from Virginia, spending a few glorious days in Tybee Island for Spring Break. This house provided the perfect set-up for relaxing at home, and was right in the mix of restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the lower level game room and hot tub, loved relaxing and eating outside on the balconies, and had a movie night inside on the huge sectional. We had 3 lovely beach days,and spent an afternoon exploring Savannah. Highlights were breakfast at The Breakfast Club, trivia and beer at Treylor Park, and a lazy evening stroll to the pier and Fanny’s for dinner. We will definitely be back!!

We were very pleased with our stay at A Wave From It All on Tybee. We had 8 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. There were a few things we found to be not working on arrival, but the property managers were very responsive and took care of it all on the first day. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook all of our meals. My only down rating was for accuracy. The property is a bit more used and worn than the pictures show. And parking is considerably tighter than described! But nothing that deterred us from having a good time and a very easy walk to the beach!

The property was lovely, minutes steps from the beach and beautifully decorated. The scale of the interior and exterior spaces allowed everyone to relax and feel comfortable both as a group and in private. Very convenient to dining and ice cream with a great coffee shop is just across the street. We created wonderful memories and would return to this property. Highly recommend.

Everything was as posted. There was 11 of us for my daughter’s bachelorette party. We had plenty of space gorgeous home.

The communication with our property manager Monique was excellent. She stayed in contact ensuring we had the important information needed for our trip! The check in process was excellent, with the code sent and the house being ready before the check in time. The house was stunning! No major problems. It was clean and very well appointed! The space served the needs of our group extremely well! We’d love to make a return trip soon!

We loved staying at A Wave From It All for our family get together. The living area was open and comfortable, the kids loved the game room and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for everyone to be together. Thank you!!

The property exceeded my Expectations. Beautifully decorated and high end appliances. Steps to beach and convenient to restaurants and shops. Everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Plans to book again , soon.
