A Wave from it All is a five-bedroom, four-bath home located one mile south of Surfside Beach Pier and 0.1 miles from beach access (short walk to the beach). This home features an open floor plan connecting the living and dining rooms with the kitchen. The kitchen features granite counters, custom cabinets, tiled flooring and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. Other amenities include washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Seven TVs (flat-screen in bedrooms, cable), DVD players, high speed Internet, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, three queen and one twin-sized bed, plus a queen-sized sofa bed. Outdoor amenities include three covered porches (two front, one back), a private 20-by-12-foot swimming pool with furnished pool area, grill, and ample parking (some covered). No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 13

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

No one ever came out the week we started. The same sand pile sat in the corner all week. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time! Loved the home! I don't know who you have cleaning but keep them the house was very clean. The only complaint I have is you need to provide a few more towels and a bad storm blew through 3 days before we left. I called to have the pool guy come out and clean up debris and get the leaves out of the pool. He came by to check out the light in the pool but never cleaned out the pool. We did the best we could with the net. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Due to the weather, it would have been nice if the pool was heated. We will definitely plan to stay again in the future.
