A unique apple country retreat

We are so in love with this property! This is our second year going and hope to visit many more times.

Really lovely property great for a family stay and very responsive host. Love the view, convenient location to downtown Hendersonville, nice to have three king bedrooms for couples. Very well stocked kitchen, which was great for meals.Alli our contact was so helpful and responsive!Highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again if we get back there!

The house is much bigger than you would think being that it is around 70 years old. Plenty of room for my family and the grounds were beautiful. Will definitely stay here again when we travel here again.

We had a wonderful stay and the property owners were lovely to work with! I really appreciated that they went above and beyond to make our Christmas vacation lovely. The home was decorated, even with a small tree, which meant a lot to me. The house is probably the most well-stocked house that I've ever seen. Not only did they have tons of spices, lots of pots/pans, cutlery, but also a crock pot, mixers, basic supplies (sugar, etc.), and even aluminum foil and plastic wrap. In the days when a lot of folks don't even give you enough toilet paper rolls to make it through your stay, they really tried to think of everything that you could need. The property is large and we enjoyed being able to walk our dog around the orchard behind the house. The house is *super* convenient to Hendersonville (one of our favorite towns) and the highway to get to Asheville as well as tons of stores. It feels so secluded, but there's an Ingles, a Walmart, and multiple restaurants like 5 minutes up the road. The views are also lovely!The only negative, which I think was some kind of glitch with VRBO, is that the listing stated that they had a hot tub, but they didn't and never have. When I spoke to them about it, they were super apologetic and got it sorted out. I'm wondering if VRBO has some AI function that adds it since they had a picture of a jacuzzi tub in the master. But in either case, they were very kind to give us a discount on our stay b/c of the mixup. Would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved the house and location. So accommodating, felt like home. I have to brag on your cleaning staff-immaculate!! We loved our stay and celebrating one of our niece’s marrying:) We immediately felt welcome from the moment we entered the house. Loved that we got to meet Phyllis? we ended up with one of your keys, but will mail it back tomorrow! Sorry about that. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful place! Jeanette

We fell in love with the house, the layout was perfect for our family. The kids loved the property and the walking trail. We all enjoyed the fireflies the evenings! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Everything was Great. 2nd straight year we have stayed here and will continue to stay as long as the house is available. The owner is kind and always available!!!

Easy to find but hidden from view of road traffic Apple orchard and view of mountains and trails in woods welcoming and so relaxing. Great place for quiet and convenient to shopping and sirport

Close enough to be convenient to everything but secluded and quiet.

It was a relaxing place with beautiful views of the mountains. We would highly recommend this location to others.
