Buxton, Oregon
Welcome to our stylish and warmhearted, modern, tiny farmhouse we call the Northwoods.
Enjoy being in the country surrounded by trees, fresh air, and chirping birds without being too far away from modern comforts.
This home is 247 square feet complete with a sitting area, kitchenette, a sofa on the main level which forms another bed if needed, window A/C, and a queen loft.
The kitchen has a lovely butcher block countertop, full fridge and freezer, 2 burner induction stove and microwave oven, providing all the comforts of home compacted into the perfect getaway.
Very well organized, clean and the grounds are beautiful. You truly feel that you’re in the middle of the forest (but know you’re not). We would definitely stay here again.
Very cute tiny home. Quiet and serene. Kitchen amenities were sparse. Would have loved a toaster! But overall a lovely stay.
Thank you awesome weekend my brother was in the other tiny home we loved it
Secluded - very clean little home! Perfect for a getaway!!
We came with our 7 and 9 year old, plenty of room for the 4 of us considering it's a tiny home. Super cute, very clean....we loved the location and trails to walk. So peaceful, we will book again!
Perfect, quiet location that fits my needs as a traveling parent. Thanks!
Very clean taken care of property! Cute little trails and surrounded by trees.
We had wonderful stay. So relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We loved the property and it was great for hiking and visiting local pumpkin farms this fall. It was also close enough to town to visit family nearby and eat at some amazing restaurants.
My husband and I choose this property due to the centralized location of Seaside and Portland only about an hour to each!. We arrived after dark due to being delayed in traffic and it was so quiet in the trees, we were afraid of waking the other tiny home on the property. We didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the property as we had a busy weekend of different festivities. We want to come back when we can just enjoy our time there. The tiny house was well stocked with needed supplies and we were presented with a very well thought out guide of things to explore and how to use various things in the home. We felt at home and slept well. The bed upstairs was more comfortable but due to my husbands health issues we only were able to climb into the loft one out of the two nights. That left the couch to sleep on the second night. It was comfortable as well and would be perfect for friends to join us next time! So glad we found this little oasis in the woods.
Very nice, new tiny home. Feels “off the grid”, yet it is only 20 minutes from Hillsboro, OR. Pain free check-in/out process. Highly recommend.
Staying in the Thimble Home on the heavily wooded property of Rice's Horses was a dream. We awoke to the chirping of various birds, the the early morning light dappling through the trees. Stepping outside we noticed we were neighbors to a hawk and a wood pecker, among many other smaller birds. There is also a neighboring tiny home, as well as the Rice's home down the hill a piece, but neither disturbed the serene and peaceful vibe. The home itself was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend, except for food which we brought and cooked ourselves on the outdoor fire pit. Finally, the proximity to the Buxton Trail and many Mom and Pop shops, made it easy to get out of the city and support local businesses, including Rice's Horses. We purchased and hour long trail ride with them and had a blast. We enjoyed their company so much we invited them to a late night fire side chat, and the whole family happily accepted, sharing stories late into the evening. Overall, 10 out of 10, would do again and recommend to a friend.
