Beautiful, clean, comfortable home in the woods! My family, including brother, sisters and their families had a wonderful time here over New Years 2023. Sue is the most accommodating host. There was nothing lacking, but she checked in several times just to be sure. We totally enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend Sue as a host and her beautiful home.
What a wonderful property. Beautiful foliage everywhere. Very quiet. Thank you for sharing your home!
Wonderful Setting! Plenty of bedrooms and baths.
Sue was a gracious hostess. She was nice to give us extra time on each end, had a nice basket of goodies to welcome us and allowed my daughter’s dog to stay with us. Excellent communication and helpful signs throughout the house. The house is in a nice secluded location backing up to some woods. It has a definite “lived in” feeling. If you’re the type of person who inspects every nook and cranny, this might not work for you. The kitchen had every imaginable pot, pan and cooking utensil. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The back yard was nice for the 3-year-old grandsons and the dog. The guys particularly enjoyed the backyard fire pit. The TV and Sirius XM system worked well. Nice dining room with some seriously bright lighting, but the numerous candles provided a good lighting solution. We had a good time. Jeff Gould
We had a great weekend at Sewanee Family weekend. This house had plenty of room for our family and friends to gather and catch up over the weekend. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a nice stay. the kitchen was well equipped and we used the grill outside. It was a distance from the pool and lake. But we enjoyed both and also the pickle ball courts.
Clean, large, comfortable home.
Wonderful time and Sue was very accommodating and helpful

Sue is a great host and her house is well equipped and spacious
Our family enjoyed gathering in Clifftops for Thanksgiving. We were able to comfortably spread out in the large house. The little ones enjoyed seeing the deer and hearing the owls! Sue was very easy to reach and readily answered any questions we had. Great place for a large group!
This home has everything you need. It’s very cozy with an excellent fireplace. We especially enjoyed the walk in shower and comfy bed. Plenty of room for children outdoors and a fenced back yard to play. We highly recommend!
Great time and great home
We enjoyed our stay!
We were in the area to see music at the Caverns nearby and this home was the perfect spot to be. It was nice and secluded and extremely welcoming. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
Couldn't be better. From the house to the owner to the beautiful wooded neighborhood, everything is great!
We are so glad we picked this home among the many choices in the Monteagle area for our family vacation trip. The house had plenty of room for the ten of us. It's at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Great communication with the owner, Sue, who provided a gift basket with wine and snacks and put a reserved sign on the door to the downstairs master bedroom for my wife and me. This gave us a quiet space while our daughters' families (four parents and four kids ranging in age from 10 months to 9 years) spread out in the four bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked, including plenty of spices and condiments. We enjoyed the back deck with a large gas grill, a fenced backyard for our dachshund, and the amenities of the Clifftops - swimming pool, lake with sandy beach, and walking trails. Two really nice master suites and bathrooms. Peaceful and pretty moss garden in the front.
Our family of six ranged in age from 94 to 5 years-old and everyone had a good time at Clifftops. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. The younger members of the family enjoyed swimming in the lake and pool. We spent most evenings playing games, making puzzles, or talking together on the porch. The home also has a wide variety of books to enjoy. Sue was a friendly host and promptly answered any questions we had. We appreciated her very thoughtful welcome gift basket.
Charming surroundings, quiet, children stayed unplugged, because they played outside! Good family fun.
Peaceful and relaxing! We will certainly be coming back!
Great stay with family and friends. The house was exactly as described and equipped with everything we needed, plus a lovely note and welcome basket from Sue upon arrival! We will definitely book again.
This was the absolute best weekend. The house is wonderful. Perfect setting. Just so very pleasant. Sue was so very nice and even left a welcome care package. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. There isn’t one detail left untouched. We would highly recommend this property and will for sure be back here in this exact house in the future. Thanks for your generosity, Sue!
