The house is beautiful, and the view from the deck is spectacular. The house is well-appointed, and the property manager could not have been nicer or more responsive. We expect to go back in the future.

It was a lovely, large house, with an unusual, one might say labyrinthine, interior layout. The river was beautiful, but not ideal for trout fishing. You'll need to wade about 1/4 mile in either direction for good fishing. There were problems, however. The most annoying was the check-in. We drove in from the north, Asheville area. To check in or out you have to drive about 20 minutes of very winding road to get to the realtor's office, adding nearly an hour to both your arrival and departure trips. In addition, at least a dozen light bulbs were out, and there wasn't enough propane in the grill tank to cook a hamburger. We had to use the grill on the lower deck, which feeds from the main house tank. There were no instructions for using the fireplace remotes, but after finding the brand I was able to use instructions I found online. Similar issue with the elevator. I eventually found the remotes for the garage door. Moreover, it took several days to figure out what light switches turned on which lights (hard to do when the bulbs were out). In general, there was simply a lack of instructions on how the house works, where things were located, etc. We never did find any steak knives. There's more, but you get the picture. I've stayed in numerous Vrbo houses and never had this problem to this extent before. In short, nice house, but needs better management.

This home was the perfect mountain getaway. From the sound of waterfall to the easy location to get around to other areas, we loved this spot. The house itself was appointed perfectly, very clean, and comfortable. We can't wait to visit again.

We had a relaxing time. The home is beautiful and so comfortable. The view of the river is beautiful and the sound is wonderful. The home is near restaurants, golfing, and hiking.. The weather is so cool. It was in the 70's during the day. We will be back.
