The space

The Home:
Set in a contemporary, art-filled home built just a year and a half ago, this four-story retreat is designed for both privacy and connection. Your private guest room and bathroom are conveniently located on the ground floor near the front entrance — easy in, easy out, and quietly tucked away from the home's shared spaces above. The mostly shared floor two opens up into a bright, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, leading out to the pool and patio. The owners' suite occupies the private floor three, and a shared stunning rooftop deck crowns the home on floor four. Note: there's no elevator, so guests should expect stairs between floors — consider it a scenic way to earn your morning coffee!

The Backyard & Pool:
Step outside to your own private oasis — a heated/cooled pool and hot tub surrounded by a covered patio, loungers, and umbrellas for sun or shade. Whether you're soaking under the stars or sipping coffee poolside, this backyard is built for relaxing.

The Rooftop:
Climb to the top floor for sweeping 180-degree views stretching from the West Bottoms to downtown Kansas City. It's the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail or quiet morning coffee with a view.

The Location:
Nestled in the charming, bluff-top neighborhood of Westside, you're just a 5-minute walk to downtown and the Crossroads Arts District, a 5-minute drive to Westport, and a 10-minute drive to the Plaza. Catch the KC Streetcar 15 minute walk away at the Kauffman Center, or explore nearby world-class museums like the National WWI Museum, Kemper Museum of Art, and the Nelson-Atkins. With quick access to nearly every major highway, you're never more than 30 minutes from anywhere in the metro — including KCI, Overland Park, Leawood, and Lee's Summit and quick ride to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs play.

Guest access
Your private room and dedicated bathroom are yours for the stay. You'll also have full access to shared spaces including the dining room, kitchen, living room, pool bath, backyard patio with pool and hot tub, and the rooftop deck — all available for you to enjoy throughout your visit.

During your stay
We're pretty chill and are open to chatting but are good to follow your lead. Just let us know how you'd prefer your stay. :)

Other things to note
We're the proud dads of two sweet cats, Alice and Cooper, who do live in the home. They're quite shy and tend to keep to themselves around guests, sticking close to their dads rather than seeking attention. If you have allergies or aren't comfortable around cats, this may not be the best fit — we want both our guests and our furry family members to feel at ease during your stay.
