This 7 bedroom, 4 bath house for our family of 22 perfectly. Extra spaces to sleep if needed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Great backyard for hanging out. We had such a wonderful time being with each other and exploring the surrounding areas. Will definitely come back. And the AC worked perfectly. ?
This house was perfect for our family reunion of 25 people. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans, etc. necessary to cook for a large group. The covered patio in the back was the best feature--it provided plenty of space for us all to eat together. It was also a good spot for conversing and playing games. Plenty of parking for all our vehicles. Only downside: a few of the mattresses could use replacing. The location was ideal--near lots of great hiking in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.
This place was perfect for us! Sabrina was easy to communicate with and flexible with our check-in time. We played volleyball for hours in the back along with other yard games. The back area is very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and having the second fridge upstairs was much needed. The smaller living room took us back in time with an old PS2 the kids enjoyed and a bunch of classic VHS tapes. We made sure to be inside at 10 or at least be quiet outside after and there were no issues with the neighbors and noise ordinance. We will consider staying here again.
It was great to have 3 families of 5 each plus a set of grandparents all together for our reunion. We didnt feel cramped with plenty of bedrooms and beds throughout the house and the 4 bathrooms were nice so that no one had to wait if they needed to use the bathroom. Plenty of parking. Kitchen was stocked w/large electric skillet plus stovetop as we cooked all meals at the house and didn't eat out. There are also multiple crock pots and instant pot and toaster + toaster oven. Kids enjoyed being in smaller groups to play/watch a movie (many VHS to choose from) and could have multiple going in diff rooms. Outside the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Note: it is easy to be too loud since you have to talk over the jets so it was easy to see why neighbors might get annoyed from late night hot tub chatter. There were an abundance of towels and bedding. The kids enjoyed tether ball and exploring the outdoors (also horseshoes and a volleyball net) The only hiccup was the upstairs hvac wasnt working properly making it very warm upstairs while cold downstairs. The host was prompt to troubleshoot and had hvac people come out before we arrived thinking the issue would be resolved. It worked for a little while after the second visit. I think it may have been a coolant leak since coolant was added both times. Either way, with the windows open at night, we were able to cool the rooms down somewhat each night. Overall, it really was a great visit and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
We rented this house to use a base for our Summer Running Camp. It was perfect! Running so much we needed to cook a lot as we burned a lot of calories. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals for lots of hungry runners (28 of us). The location was ideal, La Pine State Park which has wonderful trails for running, and a beautiful river to soak your tired legs in after is at most 10 minutes away. The house slept everyone comfortably and the covered picnic tables made for a great place to eat each day. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, the woods out back made a great morning walks and even runs. We rent a house every summer for camp and this has been the best, you will not believe how well equiped the kitchen is, gadgets, blenders, slow cookers, plus all the pots and pans, cutlery you will need. Overall, just a great place.
The house was great, lots of rooms and spaces for a large group. The backyard was fun and we had a great time. The one thing to note is they must have neighbors that are easily irritated with renters. There are very stern warnings about the 10 on quiet hours and that you can’t talk outside with anything over a whisper voice. We didn’t feel like we could be outside at all or in the hot tub after 10. We did blow a fuse in the kitchen which was not fixed when we were there. Overall, we had a great time and it is a nice property. Parking was good, the small kitchen upstairs was great to have with the additional refrigerator. There was lots of bedding and towels, if you have a big group you do need to bring paper plates etc. because there are not enough plates for multiple meals. That did mean we created lots of garbage and we felt bad about filling up their garbage. The move out instructions were easy which was nice.
Lots of room to host a family ski trip. This is the second time we have used this property and we will probably be back if we ski Mt Bachelor again.
We had 23 youth and 7 adults staying at Sabrina & Joe's home in La Pine. Finding a cozy place for us all to gather was a huge success because of the amazing home and set up of their home. We are so thankful for this opportunity that brought us closer, and for the opportunity to play in the snow at nearby snow parks!
Very nice and spacious.
We had a great time. The property was even more than we imagined,. With volleyball, horseshoes, tetherball, there is something for everyone. And plenty of space to spread out for some moments of reflection. Communication was great and check in was easy. I hope to bring my family back.
When the weather is great, this is an ideal house to have a large group stay. Fun outdoor activities, fire pit, picnic tables, hot tub etc. The beds are comfortable and there are quiet parts of the house when the main room is noisy.
Best house I have ever rented through vrbo... great kitchen ware!!! Beds and bedding mostly great!
Such a beautiful property, very close to La Pine state park. The house had everything we we could need. Couldn’t recommend more.
A good practical facility for a family of all ages. Beautiful location on the edge of the woods. Many thoughtful extras for activites around the home. Close to many desirable destinations. Woiuld stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our group of 12 and the physical property was just as described in the listing. The owners were great at communicating with us and I would certainly recommend this property with no reservations.
The photos really undersell all of the fun activities and the overall layout of the house/backyard. The walls and baseboards throughout the house could definitely use a good cleaning and I kept finding hair from what I assume are precious visitors caught in things like cabinets and around faucets. The house is filled with old school bubble TVs and VHS tapes, which fit perfectly with our 90s themed weekend. We even found an old jumanji board game in a cabinet.
