Stayed Mar 11, 2019Excellent location for Lakes. Very comfortable beds and lounge and spacious. However the Garden is not pet friendly or child friendly as it is not enclosed and there are several un fenced ponds, perhaps a warning could be posted on property information.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024Awful weather but we still made the most of it. Pinecroft was a warm and cosy place to retreat to. Loved it.

Stayed Sep 16, 2024Lovely bungalow which gives a home from home feeling, the owner Roger met us at the property when we arrived and was very informative. Ideal for visiting different places in the area and also lovely walks straight from the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Stayed Sep 7, 2024Good location, suited our needs, be better when it’s finished off. Cleaners left cobwebs by the sofas, ceilings, bed’s and pillows uncomfortable for us.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024Loved the property and location and the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Only problem with the holiday was being able to communicate with the property management company as they could not contact us as they had wrong email information. It did not matter in the end as we spoke to the property owner and he was very helpful and obliging.

Stayed May 3, 2024We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!

Stayed Apr 8, 2024Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is stunning and we didn’t need to travel too far to find places to visit. Keswick Pencil Museum, Theatre by the Lake, Derwent Water and the railway walk were very close and well worth a visit. The owner was easily contactable and flexible with our checking out time which was really helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed Apr 13, 2024On arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us some helpful information about the cottage and surrounding area. We stayed here for 6 nights whilst on a hiking trip. The directions to the cottage were spot on and the cottage itself was clean with good facilities especially for walkers/cyclists as there was an outside area for bikes and muddy shoes, clothing. The cottage had a washer/dryer, wifi, sky, good basic equipment in the kitchen and the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and bath tub too. Keswick is just a 20 minute walk/5minute drive and the views surrounding the cottage were stunning. This was a great area central to everywhere we visited and there were good facilities in the town including supermarket, nice pubs/cafes and shops. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed Mar 26, 2024Clean, quiet location in Keswick. Nicely furnished. Easy access to walking in the Lake District and a 20-25 minute walk from town center, which is a great option when the roads are choked with traffic.

Stayed Mar 18, 2024A very cosy, relaxed and well equipped house. Everything you need for a pleasant basevfrom which to explore Keswick. The host was helpful . The house has lots of character and we particularly enjoyed the original art work.
