Tahoma, California
Some say the west shore is the best shore. This house fuels that argument. Sited on a low ridge very near where paved road becomes wilderness trail, the house looks out on one of the more beautiful views of the northwest lakeshore.
Hiking, mountain bike, and ski trails are minutes from the front door. It's a short drive to fabulous beaches, and after a day on the water open the tall sliding doors, cook in a clean modern kitchen, then gather on the cedar deck as the sun falls to your left over the western ridge -- Or drink coffee on the upper deck as the lake silvers in the dawn.
With three bedrooms, three full baths, an upper sitting room and a common kitchen/living area, the house design artfully mixes private and public space. Eco View is a special place to unwind or engage, a place guests are sure to come back to year after year!

Unique and comfortable vacation rental in both winter and summer.
Everything was great! We had a great time there. The only thing that I feel like could be improved was that the laundry machine was a bit dirty.
Great modern house with beautiful views. A perfect spot for one family looking to enjoy the West Shore!
Beautifully designed 3 Bed, 3 Bath, ideal for extended family or friends. Plenty of space for everyone and perfect for entertaining with the open kitchen, great room and deck floor plans. I will definitely go back to this awesome lake view home. Take your favorite kitchen condiments and spices.
Overall we had a great stay and this is a nice house. I would rent again. However, I'm going to start out with the negatives here bc that's what you're here for right? - We had bears attempting to get in the cars every single day and I personally had to scare them off 10+ times. The neighbors on one side have a bear fence and that is needed at this property now. A bear broke one of the windows in a car. We made sure not to have any food or other smellables in the cars but the bears kept coming back every day anyways. - The fridge door is jacked up and has duct tape on it. It is pretty annoying to close properly. Needs a repair. - The screen doors to the deck are not well fitted and super-easily come off their tracks. Easy enough to put them back on, but annoying that it needed to be done multiple times per day. It was easier to leave them off and pop back in at the end of our stay. - As with all rental houses, the knives are completely worthless. Not sharp enough to cut veggies. Providing a sharpener would be a nice touch. - Water pressure in the primary shower is a joke. Downstairs showers not much better. - Why not a king bed in the primary bedroom? It's a huge room and fancy so the choice of a queen is a strange one. To complete the praise sandwich, four nice things: - Wifi is good and strong. Multiple people Zooming and it held up well. - We used the hot tub everyday and after 4 days it was getting a little gross and it didn't seem like the water was circulating. Tahoe Getaways sent a person out to troubleshoot the circulation and clean it out. She was the nicest! Really great service and couldn't have been sweeter with our 5 year old who was very curious about the whole operation. We will use Tahoe Getaways again just bc of her. - Kitchen is outfitted for actual cooking. Sheet pans! Sufficiently large cutting boards! Multiple mixing bowls! - In the main room there is a disco ball garden gnome statue. He's awesome.
Breathtaking views from every window and deck . The house was spotless, airy and very comfortable. One of our favorite surprises was filling the living room with our music through the speakers mounted on the vaulted ceiling. We would absolutely stay here again.
This property was awesome and we had a nearly perfect stay. The house is well constructed with quality materials and is nicely decorated. It was perfect for our family with its large rooms, big open kitchen area, and large backyard deck/hot tub with neat peek of the lake. We also appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen has two ovens which also came in handy for us. We missed a couple minor things like toilet paper holders in the bathrooms, tongs in the kitchen and bbq utensils but no biggie. We would love to stay here again!
Great clean space with accurate listing of amenities, close to Tahoma market serving tasty sandwiches/pizza and Homewood for ski. Could do with upgrading pillows for improved sleep and increased water pressure. Thank you for sharing the space and allowing for extended checkout - we made the most of the morning playing at Blackwood Canyon snow park with kids before returning home.
Enjoyed staying at this property. Clean, charming, well equipped with gorgeous views
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience. we had problems with the lockbox. Some of the usual household supplies were missing such as drying rack for dishes, place mats(only 3 available), small towels ,wash cloth and bath mats not available .It would also have been helpful to have instructions for TV/DVD and Hot Tub.
