Our cabin's unique round design creates an amazing wood structure with cupola windows at the top for lots of light. All natural beams are visible up to the ceiling! It is a rustic cabin - not fancy or modern if that's what you want but very comfortable with its unique structure and cozy cabin feel. There are two sets of about 12 stairs to the entryway so this allows our great views! The kitchen is not large but does have Great Lake views while you are cooking (only ok for 2-3 people together at one time.)
Meeks Bay Resort has an amazing beautiful white sand beach that is gorgeous with crystal clear water for swimming! There is a lodge, small store and snack bar and for lunch.
In any case...West Shore is the BEST shore!
We know that once you stay at this special place we love, you will want to come back!

We loved the views of the lake from the property from both levels. The host was very communicative and left great instructions for how to get the most enjoyment out of our time there. The part of Tahoe it is in is very peaceful and we really enjoyed not being on the busy side of the lake. Everything we needed was well stocked and did I mention the views! The kids also enjoyed the pool table which added mom and dads peace. Thanks for sharing your property with us!
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful house overlooking Lake Tahoe. Close to hikes and gorgeous landscapes. Plenty of sleeping and relaxing space for our group -- the kitchen gets crowded with more than 2 or 3. Just a great place to relax and unwind.
A great stay in a well equipped house with views of Lake Tahoe.
A great cabin, well stocked with the basics and a breathtaking view! A quick trip ( walk or drive ) to Meeks bay. All around a huge win for the teens and seniors!
This is an amazing property. The view is the most amazing I have ever been in. The owners are very communicative. Made amazing memories and would do it again.
This property is on the west shore centrally located between South Lake Tahoe and Truckee. It’s a 20 minute drive in each direction. The property is beautiful and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Precautions have been taken at the property to address any bear concerns. We did see a sow and cubs less than 100 yards from the property while staying there. I don’t think the pics on VRBO do this place justice. Really, really nice cabin vibe in the mountains at this property with all the modern amenities. This property is built on a steep grade so there are stairs from the parking area to the house and stairs from level 1 to level 2. If you have difficulty with stairs, this property could be a challenge for you. For us it was great!
The property was very comfortable. The views were lovely. The location was perfect for day trips to the north and south side of the lake. We will definitely keep this on our radar for a return trip!
What an amazing house! The views were insane. The house is really nicely spaced out. Perfect for a few couples to enjoy and still have some privacy. Had everything we needed to enjoy a much needed get away. Tahoe is gorgeous. The property owners were super communicative and easy going. Cannot wait to book another stay.
It is a beautiful home in a scenic location. It was nice to have the mountain behind us and we can enjoy winter activities without going far. We enjoyed our stay there and would come back again.
??
This house was amazing. From the views, to the updated amenities to the ease of location, you cannot ask for more! Linda was incredibly responsive and even checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Worth every penny!
Excellent location
Our family took a trip to Tahoe to have a Celebration of Life event for my Father. This property was wonderful, well kept, in a great location (can easily see the lake from deck), and had all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. The property owners (Linda & Robert) were quick to respond and provided all the detail needed to make the trip easy. We would stay here again if we come back to Tahoe.
Loved staying here—location was great, away from the busy-ness of South Lake Tahoe but close to great hiking in state parks and right next to the lake. The house is very comfortable & has beautiful views from the decks and from the interiors, too. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely stay here again!
House has tremendous views of Meeks Bay and is well appointed. The lower level is fun for games/play and the upper level has a nice renovated kitchen and beautiful light. Perfect for a family and the location is perfect. Would absolutely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful spot. It had truly one of the most gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe. The rental is extremely well equipped with much attention to detail. The beds are cozy and the setting peaceful. My family enjoyed barbecuing, playing pool and board games and watching a movie together. Yoga on the deck watching the lake in the early morning was the best. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We had such a lovely stay at Linda & Robert's property in Meek's Bay. Tahoma is a smaller, quieter town that is 15-20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe and about 20+ to Tahoe City. We enjoyed this serene part of the lake with hiking trails nearby, a beach you can walk to with kayak/paddleboard rentals, and a bike path across the street that you can take all the way to Tahoe City and beyond. The house itself was very comfortable and plenty of room for the four adults staying. A very unique layout - a dodecagon I learned! (12-sided polygon), with a small kitchen at the center that is newly remodeled and had everything we needed to make fresh-ground coffee and breakfast to enjoy on the lovely deck in the morning. The view from here is wonderful and where we spent most of our time. So much so that we regret not getting to play a round of pool, but hope to return and make good on that one day! Linda was wonderful to work with and very communicative. We felt very welcome and would absolutely recommend this property and location.
