They property was perfect for our college roommate reunion, with a glass of wine or morning coffee on the deck. Loved the location, the fall foliage and the amenities. Everything was clean and cozy from the comfortable beds and fluffy towels to the well-appointed kitchen, coffee bar, and electric fireplace. The experience couldn’t have been easier or more enjoyable.

While this house is nestled in a residential/resort area, it felt like being deep in the forest. We arrived late and as we were driving up the mountain, deer were just lying down beside the road, completely unphased that we were there. The home itself, is well appointed. I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee bar, which I enjoyed every morning, while sitting at the dining room table watching the little chipmunks play outside. The bedding was comfortable and smelled AMAZING. The house backs up to the base of a mountain, so the view out the back is so nice. We had deer every morning. Even though there are houses nearby, it was super quiet. We felt at home here. The owners seemed to really have thought of everything. I would definitely stay here again. We came into town for parents weekend at JMU and it was close enough for us. Highly recommend.
