A Grand House

Great place and hosts! Would love to stay there again.

This house in Vancouver was a great place to stay. The host has put a lot of thoughts into little things that made the place an easy place to be. One of the best stocked kitchens that i've had in a short term rental. Lot's of free parking on site. The location has easy access to downtown Vancouver and the waterfront district, and is not too far from PDX. We look forward to staying here again.

The house fit our needs perfectly for our visit to Vancouver. Very pet friendly, convenient location, excellent parking, and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again.

The host allowed us to check in early which was SO HELPFUL! The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable!

The house was exactly as described in the post. Very welcoming home with a fenced I yard which my dogs loved. We stayed there briefly because we were having work done on our own home but would recommend this house to any of our family coming into town!

Easy access to downtown and my dog loves the fully fenced yard.

Clean house with a good location and neighborhood. We liked that the front and backyard was fully fenced. The beds and pillows were comfy! Only slight downside since we had our baby with us was that you could definitely hear the road noise and the bedrooms were too bright at night since Grand Blvd is a main road. Overall would stay again though!

This was an incredibly comfortable home with everything we needed. It was even decorated nicely for the holidays which was a warm touch!

We booked the Grand house over Christmas. It’s always tricky bringing the Christmas magic with you for your kids when having Christmas away. Well the Grand House brought the Christmas magic. I could not believe the details and decorations. Thank you so much Lyle for making our Christmas away so magical.

Very comfortable house in a convenient and safe location. Was set up well for a dog with a fenced in well managed yard.

The house was conveniently located on our road trip and had everything we needed for a quick stopover. The beds were comfortable and we liked that there was laundry and a bathtub. (Washer needed some cleaning but the host was apologetic about this and provided a partial refund, which was much appreciated) The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs to play a bit after a long day in the car. The host was communicative ahead of time, but didn't respond to texts once we were there (instructions said to contact him by text with any questions) although we did arrive late at 9pm. The sauna wasn't working, which was a big disappointment. I recommend a less intense air freshener and blackout curtains for the windows facing the nearby blinking lights of the intersection (which one can also hear beeping all night if you're sensitive). Recommend paper tiger coffee in the morning! Cute shops in the neighborhood.

House was great for us and our dogs!

Great stay. Very clean. Excellent location. Parking space more than adequate. Great for pets because of the fenced yard. They were able to run around without issue or fear of them accidentally getting out. Neighborhood very quiet and walkable.

Came here for a nephews wedding. It was within minutes of where the wedding and reception were held.

Really cute, clean house. It’s on a fairly busy road but noise was never a problem. The city center area is a quick 10 minute drive. The only negative was they were out of laundry detergent but everything else was great.

Perfect place for the pups and I. We were there for almost two weeks. There is a nice quiet lane behind the house to walk the dogs. And even a perk a view of the river in the distance. Lyle was a great host and was extremely helpful.

We enjoyed staying in this spacious and comfortable house. I was struck by the softness of the sheets and how overall comfy my bed was!

It was amazing

This place was perfectly thought out! We came up from California to have a place where we could spend time with our kids and grand dog. We had just about everything we needed to cook, entertain, and hang out! There are views of the Columbia River from the porch. Nearby waterfalls to explore, as well as an awesome Main street with resurtants a bookstore, and even thrift shops.

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay here. The sauna was awesome, the house was cute and clean, and the host was very easy to communicate with.

We had an excellent stay at this location. We were on our way to the Oregon Coast with our six month old and 2 year old. We stopped to see some family in the Portland area for a couple nights and this was the perfect location for us with how close it was to the Portland area. We appreciated that it was a ways away from the business of the populated Vancouver and Portland area. Grand Blvd was quite noisy even at night, which was tough if you are not a heavy sleeper, or you have little ones. That’s the only negative to this location — everything else was clean and comfortable!

Enjoyed our stay.

It was a beautiful home, spacious and homey. Was just there a couple of days but couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Lyle for allowing us to share your home in what was a sad reason for us to go , because of you and your quaint lil home it was more enjoyable than I expected and I was able to spend much needed time with my baby Sister thank you again.

Property was in a great location and made us feel just at home! We had everything we needed and the experience/stay was great. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The overall stay was delightful; just close enough to travel around Portland and be around in Vancouver.

Lyle was a lifesaver by allowing us to check in 90 minutes early; we were relocating from up above Seattle and were simply exhausted by the move and the drive down. The beds were really comfortable and the dog loved the yard, everything else is a bit of a blur!

It was a charming little home that was not to far from downtown Portland or family in Battleground. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for an our trip. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Great spot, easy access to Portland and surroundings. Cute place, very comfortable. Would definitely rent it again if in Portland/Vancouver!

My wife and I are traveling from Southern California to the Pacific Northwest. Our stay was just for one night. The home is conveniently located very clean. Everything we need it was provided, and it was within walking distance of restaurants.

A friend and I stayed here to explore the city. The area was great and the house was perfect for what we needed.
