A Gorgeous Riverfront Renovation Minutes From Downtown Cedar Falls

Our family stayed here while we were in town for a family funeral. The location was perfect and being next to the river created the peacefulness we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and very nice. We will definitely come back here for future stays when we come back home.

Beautiful property with gorgeous view, comfortable beds, very clean. We stayed one night so we didn’t get to use all the amenities but enjoyed our stay. Only downside is that it was impossible to get ahold of the property manager. I tried to contact them via VRBO message, email, and phone call prior to staying and never heard back. If anything were to come up during our stay, I don’t think we would be able to reach anyone. Would have been 5 stars if we had received any response.

The interior looks exactly like the pictures and was comfortable! The exterior needed more attention. The lawn was almost a foot long when I arrived. Property manager had it mowed on my third day.Note for your trip planning: when the river water is high, there are lots of mosquitoes.

We had a wonderful stay at this at the house. We loved being in a wooded area by the river. The screened-in patio overlooking the water was the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or evening conversation. We especially loved gathering around the fire pit, reminiscing under the stars—it created such a cozy and memorable atmosphere. This home is ideal for get-togethers, with just the right balance of comfort and nature. We would definitely return!

This is a fantastic place for a family getaway! The house is great, well appointed, and very well kept. The view overlooking the Cedar River is mesmerizing with lots of wildlife and gorgeous sunsets. Cedar Falls is about five minutes away with lots of great shops and a variety of places to eat.

We needed a weekend getaway close to UNI to gather Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa families. It was a beautiful home full of everything we needed, including garage access for our car which came in handy during a storm.

We stayed over the holidays and had a great time. The house is beautiful and the views are amazing.It's in a quiet secluded area of town but close to the main roads.Would definitely stay again.

Everything surpassed my expectations. The rooms are nice and clean. The kitchen had everything we wanted and more. The sun room overlooking the river was warm and beautiful and so relaxing to hang out in on some very cold days in late November. The host is ver responsive and pleasant to interact with.

Staying in this lovely space overlooking the Cedar River was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Meals on the deck with a gentle breeze, walks in the woods -- nature immersion with the fun of town just a step away. Tony couldn't have been kinder and the space has the most thoughtful guide for guests! We left replenished and renewed - *highly recommend.

Such a pretty spot on a beautiful river. Enjoyed the house too. Really nice place to enjoy with friends with a beautiful porch that overlooks the river, nice kitchen, comfortable beds. Hope to go back someday!

We needed a place to stay while attending a celebration of life for a relative in IA. We wish we could have spent more time at the property - such a great location!

Gave this stay to my parents as a gift. They said they loved sitting in the sunroom watching the river, and the layout of the house was unique and interesting. Hosts were very communicative. Only downside was how expensive it was. Unfortunately I didn't realize the fees were not all showing at first, but I think that may have been my fault. So glad a riverside spot was available, my dad loves rivers and they met in Cedar Falls, so it worked out nicely.

Everything was as it was explained. Easy check in and great communication!
