Stayed Mar 6, 2025PRO’s - Garage w opener- Tiled flooring exclusive of one bedroom- Primary bathroom jetted tub is large enough for two average sized adults - Fully fenced backyard - Nice neighborhood CONs - Poorly designed second bathroom. That’s because as the shower, sink and toilet are within a glass enclosure EVERYTHING gets wet once the shower is used, and since the water exposure eliminates a bathroom electrical outlet NO electrical devices, such as a hair dryer, curling iron, etc can be used. - Although not an issue for two adults, as my wife and I only used the toilet, this bathroom might be OK for youngsters but IMO few adults will find the arrangement satisfactory.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024The check in check out process was nearly effortless. The home is very pet friendly with ample room to have a very good and comfortable time. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and around the home. Excellent location near shopping and down town. Had a wonderful time.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This property was perfect for our stay. Had everything we needed Host was very pleasant, quick and easy to communicate with. The backyard was perfect for our small dog. The house wasn’t far from town and neighborhood was quiet and peaceful . Loved the dog washing station to wash their feet off. Was a lovely place to stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you

Stayed Jul 28, 2024I really don’t like giving poor reviews but this experience was such a bummer. We were so excited about the location but the home ended up being very frustrating to stay in. While the owner was nice and tried to help, there were just so many issues. Upon arrival we noticed all of the glasses and silverware were dirty (cloudy and some with food stuck on) in the cabinets. We ran them all through the dishwasher. We saw a keurig in the photos so we purchased k-cups in our Walmart order only to arrive to a traditional coffee maker. We had to return the k cups and pick up coffee grounds. There were signs in the bathrooms saying you couldn’t flush the toilet paper. We clarified the next day with owner who said we could but that was confusing. The larger bathroom toilet was broken for our whole stay. We had to remove the tank lid to flush which was frustrating with young kids. The only fully working toilet was in a shower. None of the windows in the sun room worked and all of the blinds were broken. The backyard hose broke halfway through our stay which affected our water pressure. This made doing dishes harder. Many of the doors were extremely loud which made it harder for people to sleep in. The front door area always smelled like gas. Overall the house was just odd and had so many broken elements that it made it very difficult to relax.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024The location was several miles west of downtown Pagosa in a residential area. The property was as advertised. Kitchen was nice with plenty of dishes and utensils. A few things need attention (torn screens on doors to deck, peeling deck) but most rentals have these sorts of small issues. Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodation.

Stayed May 17, 2024We enjoyed our stay but found both bathrooms to be a bit strange. The onsuite bathroom is a wet room and very ackward and messy to use and the hall bath has a shower head above the tub and again very ackward and messy.

Stayed Jan 6, 2024Stayed here for a month to ski Wolf Creek and it was wonderful. Took daily walks around the lake even with it being winter, and had the advantages of being close to town as well as nordic skiing and snowshoeing. The neighborhood was quite with everyone being very friendly. The homeowner was welcoming and an excellent communicator when I had questions. The home itself was well taken care of with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, and comfortable beds. Looking forward to staying here again!

Stayed May 28, 2023The location in the lake area outside of downtown was excellent. Very good restaurants nearby and still just a few minutes drive to the heart of town. This location is more middle America neighborhood not a resort environment. The owner has added very unique design elements to a typical ranch house. Beautiful woodwork and one-of-a-kind kitchen and bathrooms. All the appliances are new and high end. The house offered all our dog’s needs - good size fenced and grassy backyard. A surprise dog bath in the laundry room was put to use and worked great. We really enjoyed the sun room with access to a large deck with patio dining table. There are some projects that are probably on the owners to do list. One needed item is a book like most VROB places have with instructions on how to turn on the several televisions and use of the wall fireplace in the garden room. We were not able to figure out any of them. Over all, a relaxing place.
