A 5 bedroom mountain retreat, ideal for couples, and families.

Host was extremly helpful and welcoming. All amenities were top of the line. Our family will definately return. We love the fact that we are only 30-45 minutes from this lovely retreat!!!

Susan was very quick & easy to converse with. Her home was perfect for our family get together. Everyone especially enjoyed the puzzles & snacks. She had everything we needed while staying. Beautiful surroundings.

Sue has everything you need to host a Thanksgiving meal. She was always handy for any questions we had. There was so much space to spread out or cozy up together in front of the fire. We had a great visit and hope to go back!

Susan was so welcoming. She even left bottled water, snacks, and a bottle of wine for us.

We had a marvelous time at this lovely home in Clifftops. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed and was located in the same neighborhood as our relatives’s home - making it very convenient for family gatherings. We would definitely stay there again!

Large home with enough space to accommodate a large family. The location was great, central to both Monteagle and Sewanee. Quiet neighborhood on a large lot.

This lovely house in Clifftops was exactly as advertised. We were in town to help our daughter move into her dorm at Sewanee. The host Sue was very responsive, but not intrusive. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

This was a great house in the woods for a weekend with friends with plenty of space for spending time together as a group and on our own. Although secluded , it was a short distance to hiking, restaurants and The Caverns. We all hope to come back again soon ! (The bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly as described. 5 bdms 4 1/2 baths accommodating up to 10 adults very comfortably.)

The house was well furnished and spacious. We were eight adults and were quite comfortable. Our host was very helpful. I recommend this charming and comfortable house.

Our family Christmas time at Moongahla was so nice. This roomy home has all you need and more! It is welcoming and comfortable inside and out. The owner excels in communication from beginning to end. With 10 people, from 4 years old to 75, and a dog, it had space for all !

This house had plenty of space for our family. Everyone got their own bedroom and bathroom. Lots of good trails in the area and some interesting shops. Very private neighborhood so we felt secure and it was very quiet.

We loved staying at this home! It was spacious, and huge. Enough room for everyone. Great location and outstanding host.

Host was wonderful

Moongalbah met all of my expectations. The space accommodated our group 11 extremely well. The isolation of the property in the Clifftops provided excellent privacy as well as a great place for walks and observing wildlife. The kitchen was well stock, and all amenities satisfied our needs. It was a great place for our family to gather. I would highly recommend this property!

The photos of this house do not do it justice! I felt like we were staying at the cozy mountain getaway of a dear family friend. Not only was Moongalbah clean and comfortable, but there was plenty of space for two families with young children to spread out and relax. We also had all of the supplies we needed-- never having to make multiple trips to the grocery store for something like paper towels or salt and pepper. I unexpectedly broke my ankle before this trip and the Master on Main + bathroom was perfect for my limited mobility. Great back porch perfect for evening conversation with wine or quiet mornings with coffee solo. Property is beautiful and perfectly tucked away, but not too far from the main road. We will absolutely be back!

The house was perfect for our week-long family retreat with our two adult children and their families. six adults and 7 children ages 1-9. Sue was the perfect host. The house is roomy with multiple sitting areas including a great rear deck and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed access to Clifftops amenities including fishing and swimming in the lake, a great pool and hiking trails. As a bonus the house is decorated with fascinating memorabilia from our host's world travels!

This our second time staying here and as usual it did not disappoint. The first time was for our daughter's graduation from Sewanee and the second for her wedding at Sewanee. It was so nice to have a larger house to accommodate our family and relax after the events. Thanks to Sue for being an awesome host!
