Overall a nice property. It was good condition overall and laid out well for a family group with recreation room, hang-out space, and hiking area. We had an enjoyable stay. Just a note of caution, this property boasts that it sleeps 15 persons. Here is the scoop regarding the 15 number: - 4 bedrooms each with a nice double bed.(8 persons) - 3 of the bedrooms had a single mattress on the floor of a closet (3 persons must sleep in closets) - The rec room contained a trundle bed with two single mattresses (2 persons) - The rec room also contained a hide-a-bed couch (2 persons) Therefore I don't think you would want to stay here with more than 8 adults. Kids may be ok in the closet and rec room beds. Bathrooms - nice bathrooms, but only two. One is a huge bathroom off the largest bedroom. It has a whirlpool tub as well as a large shower, two sinks, and a private toilet. The 2nd bathroom is off of the hallway and has a 2nd inside door to the shower and toilet. So, although this is a nice place, be aware that the sleeping areas and bathroom situation probably would not be great for an adult group larger than 8. The other 7 beds may be acceptable for kids. Note that if everyone needs to bathe/shower in the morning before going somewhere, it is a bit of a challenge. Oh, by the way, this property has on-demand water heating. Therefore, the showers will have an unending supply of hot water which was a great design choice for this property.
Our extended family of eleven stayed at this property during our recent trip to Kentucky. We used it as basecamp to go to area attractions (The Creation Museum, Ark Encounter, and Cincinnati Zoo). It was a beautiful home inside and out. We were impressed by the size and amenities. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. Would definitely recommend this location to large families who are looking to come to the area.
80 acres with well manicured lawn & walking paths through the woods. Temps made it perfect for songs around the fire pit. Wonderful kitchen & Great Room for family. Taught the 5 yr olds to play ping pong. Did I mention the pool…kids were over the moon. Beds comply. We had a very enjoyable time! Ark was very close
The house is exactly has pictured. The owners thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We were their to visit the Ark Encounter and Celebrate Special Birthdays. There were 6 of us and we enjoyed being able to just relax and visit with each other. If you are going to be in the Williamstown Ky area this is the place stay. Less than 15 mins to the Ark Encounter. The drive to the house is so much fun! If I could give more stars I would )
We had a wonderful time at this property! There was so much room to spread out and the kids absolutely loved the game room! We enjoyed walking around the property and the sunrises are gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again!
We had the best time! The house and property was exactly as described ! Extras such as coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo was all supplied. The family space was perfect. The teens enjoyed the pool table and ping pong tables. Plenty of linens and towels was available. Only complaint was there isn’t any mirrors in any of the bedrooms. Otherwise it was perfect.
The house is beautiful and very much like home. We had everything we needed and everyone enjoyed the game room. If I could make one suggestion is to maybe add a half bath. There were 13 people in our group and we made it fine.
The property in the picture is what I booked. An hour out I received a call that the property had an issues from a prior tenant. The manager was able to get us into another property. While it did work it wasn't what I booked. But when you have 8 adults and 4 kids that have all drove between 6 to a 8 hours to get here what do you do. If you have a big family that like a farm house feel, a heated outdoor pool and nice fire pit this property is for you. Ps there is a super friendly dog that visits. He is wonderful. Be nice to him. Also there is a funny crazy cat in the area that likes to sun on the grill. So don't freak out.
This property is beautiful! The large room with pool table and ping pong table was perfect! I think our girls spent most of their time in there. It was relaxing, a great place to hang out and catch up with friends.
Place House looked actually like the pictures. Very Beautiful. Plenty of space n plenty of seating, outside n inside. Only complaint is the Pool Ladder. It was hard to get up n the area to jump in the pool should of been more to the front of the pool. The pool itself was big n very enjoyable. Thank You for a Beautiful place n relaxing weekend
We enjoyed our stay. Proximity to the Ark was a huge plus! We did have a problem in that we were never able to connect to the WiFi, and despite our multiple requests for help, the property manager did not do anything to fix the problem other then repeatedly ask if we entered the login and password correctly…which we did on multiple devices. However, even with that problem, we did enjoy our stay.
House was beautiful. Smelled so new and clean. Pool was clean. Playing pool and ping pong with the family was so much fun in the evenings.
