50+. 5 star reviews!
This property exceeded all our expectations! The living space was absolutely perfect for our group, offering ample room to socialize while still allowing for moments of tranquility. However, the outdoor area was the true highlight. Whether it was the multiple decks from which we could spot seals, harbor porpoises, or bald eagles, the picturesque point where we could unwind and savor the rugged Maine coastline, or our adventures on the bay in the kayaks, it was truly a splendid place to unwind and enjoy a vacation.
The property exceeded our expectations . It is very well equipped and has a beautiful outlook over the water . There is ample dining and living areas both inside and outside and a fire pit surrounded by chairs . It was perfect for our extended family group visiting Maine from the UK for our sons wedding . The boathouse is also very well equipped with kayaks , a canoe and sail boat and paddle boards . I would highly recommend the rental to anyone . It is clearly a well loved family home with many extra touches and equipment which make a huge difference to the overall experience
Family gathering (Philly, Boston, Chicago participants). The house, host, and location were Awesome. This was a annual get together of my brothers, nephews, cousins and the house was perfect for all 10 of us to bond as well as have some down time, when wanted. My communication experience with the host was excellent, even offering to have our party check in a day early due to a Nor'easter moving up the coast. The house had everything we needed, and MORE. Everyone had a great time and when we left the house yesterday was asking how can we possibly top this?
Just a fabulous property. House was perfect and the views were spectacular. Trip could not have been better.
It will be your best Maine vacation yet! Everything was above and beyond expectation and Hilda is very responsive.
This house was everything we had hoped for! We were 7 adults and a baby and there was space for everyone to be together, or to have privacy when needed. The kitchens were well supplied, the linens were great, there were even bins with first aid supplies! The fire pit was fun for all as well. And the view of sunrise was amazing. I loved this home.
Beautiful home. Beautiful property. A very special place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this amazing property. The recently completed renovations are the icing on the cake, adding even more beautiful water views and a luxurious master suite. The outside spaces are just as enjoyable as those inside with many seating areas for soaking up the beautiful views.
We absolutely loved this property. It was a big family reunion for us and with so many people we had plenty of space and ease with cooking and kitchen equipment and accessories. Also many things to keep everyone entertained… lawn games, kayaks, the sailboat, puzzles, books, games, fire pit, hammocks. It was the perfect property. We would go back in a heartbeat and completely recommend it to anyone. Hilda was a gem and quick to help and respond to any questions we had. We thank her for putting her gorgeous property up for rental.
Long Point was even better than we imagined it would be: a bright, large place located right on the water, with numerous spaces for us all to spread out and relax, and savor the ocean scene. Even on the one rainy day we had, there was enough indoor, open space for games and reading. We kayaked and read and walked and dreamed, and splurged on one magnificent big lobster meal; we boiled up our crustaceans in the outdoor cooking area down under the big deck. Thank you, Hilda, for a wonderful stay!
