Our third time staying at the cottage was just as wonderful. Restful and peaceful. A short distance to downtown Weaverville. Everything you could possibly need has generously been provided. We just love the large yard for our dogs to have some great runs looking for squirrels and rabbits. Or just laying on the grass and porch enjoying the sun. We look forward to coming back! Thank you Vikki and Ray for being such thoughtful hosts.

The delicious pie waiting for your arrival is such a special welcome! Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage and property.

My daughter and I loved our stay at the cottage! The pictures are quite accurate, but don’t do the cottage justice. It is so charming and lovely. We’ve stayed many places, but this is the first that felt like a home instead of rental. It was spotlessly clean and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The location was very convenient to all the activities we had planned. The hosts are kind, helpful, and super communicative! The apple pie was amazing and such a nice welcome. We would definitely book this property again!

We had a fresh baked apple pie waiting in the kitchen which was delicious and a sweet touch. The cottage has an equipped kitchen , with dishes and pots , pans and utensils. We love the feel of the property. It was like being at your grandparents house for the weekend. We plan on staying again. Also convenient to downtown and Asheville.

We had a lovely stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults. We noted it was very dog friendly as well. A secluded location, but easy to get to and close to everything needed for our stay. We had dinner at a local restaurant, Twisted Laurel, which was excellent. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all of my questions. Checkin couldn't have been easier. And we felt very welcomed with a delicious apple pie. Such a nice touch and a lovely addition to our Thanksgiving feast. We plan to return. Hopefully for a longer visit.

My daughter and I loved our time here. We both said it was too short and will return. Super clean, quaint, cozy, comfortable, beautiful spot. We also found so many small touches and attention to detail that are so thoughtful. Make sure to check the binder on the bookshelf in the living room about the archaeological history of the property. This property has a special place in our hearts and memories. The hosts are phenomenal and communication is 5 stars. The outside is perfect for kids, and the bonfire pit is one of the highlights of the property. We were a bit sad to see the house seems to be going more down hill (we understand it is a very old house and we appreciate the nature of them as we too have lived in 100 year old houses, one of which we gutted and remodeled) and it seemed the house is lacking some much needed necessary maintenance. You will love your time here, regardless, it was just something that we noticed has changed from years past. Old houses, this one in particular, are so special for us, and we would hate to see it lost!

Great stay, great location, clean and tidy & a yummy apple pie to welcome us & a nice touch of smores ( which my son loved). Sitting on the veranda in the rocking chair watching the fire flies was delightful. However one piece of information missing in description was that was located next to a major highway, so for a light sleeper like myself it wasn't perfect night sleep I was hoping for. A nice little getaway property & nicely and homely and nice decorated & lots of caring touches.

This place is absolutely lovely. They have taken such card in decorating it. There was even a pie upon arrival! We did encounter a few bumps (literally). The two twin beds were in a loft and with very low ceilings. This would be perfect for kids, but my friend and I smacked our heads sitting up in bed. Also, there is no cover for where the firewood is kept so it was too wet to use. That being said, they had plenty of kitchen things like coffee and s'mores supplies to entertain us. We had a wonderful stay.

We gave a good review because on arrival we were notified that the water pipes were frozen. We had no water till the next morning. But the hosts were very good about keeping us informed and helping us out with additional water jugs for use during the night. Like staying at Grandma’s house! Sweet little cottage in a private location. Plenty of room in yard for children or a dog to run (the yard is not enclosed). They even left us some tasty pastries. They left us supplies for s'mores as well! Bonus…we got to see fall colors and snow! Our teens had a blast making a snowy bonfire and building a snowman. The cabin is great, quiet, and secluded which was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. It’s just a short drive into town. Weaverville is one of our favorite places. Blue Mountain Pizza is a must for us. We were able to enjoy a couple of days at the Biltmore doing all things Christmas. Black Mountain is open and wanting visitors. Downtown Asheville is as well. We were able to visit and support many places that we love in the area. We also enjoyed a short drive to the Arboretum to enjoy Winter Lights. We are already planning a summer trip and would 10/10 return to Rabbit Hollow!
