In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!



PUP-FRIENDLY:

Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.



WIFI/TV SERVICE:

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!



979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!



CANCELLATION POLICY:

When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.



Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

    We had a great weekend with our friends and dogs. The fenced yard was well maintained and perfect for the dogs to run and play. Spent time at the tiki bar across the street and met lots of great locals. Easy beach access too. Nice quiet neighborhood.

    We had a great experience. The house was clean, the perfect amount of space for our group, communication was prompt. The house had everything we needed. Easy beach access. Buggy rental & food truck across the street was super convenient as well.

    We will never stay at this house ever again. We will also never be booking with 979 rentals moving forward. Little to no communication. Empty promises, and SO many issues with this house that were not addressed. This house needs to some serious TLC before anyone else stays here. Oven does not work so most of our food went to waste. The team did not fix this during our week long stay. The toilet handle in the first bedroom was broken. Wifi was so slow that we had to purchase a hotspot to work for the week. The patio lights upstairs and downstairs did not work.. We had to climb on a ladder to get to the cord to plug them in. Maintenance did fix the upstairs string lights however. There was sitting brown/blackish water under the kitchen sink. The TV in the main room has lines going straight through the picture as if the TV was going out any minute. And we got our “check-out instructions “ sent to us via email 5 hours before we needed to be checked out. Had I not checked my email that morning we wouldve had no clue what rules we were to follow. And on top of this we were told that maintenance/finance would be getting with us on Monday for a solution and we were left hanging with no response/text/call/ or email. This house needs to be removed from the VRBO site until it can comfortably accommodate stays longer than 2 days.

    Clean house with everything you need. Thoughtful little welcome package with stuff we ended up needing. It’s a quick 3 min walk to the beach. We stayed with 2 other couples and the rooms were well insulated from noise. AC was jammin. Overall we greatly enjoyed the stay!

    Great location! Nice house but a few things need some attention . Specifically, there is no door on outdoor shower, bathroom exhaust fan did not work, no outdoor lighting would work except for the motion light . The house has a nice outdoor area to hang out and grill. The fenced area for dogs was nice to have. A very short walk to beach and convenience store nearby.

    The outside lights did not work which was a big disappointment-lights strung out and looks great in the pics but they didn’t work. The AC struggles when the range in the kitchen is on. Pretty sure the refrig is off temp even though it was on the coldest setting. Couldn’t figure out how to use the tv, not a huge deal since we were trying to get away from it. Towels were excellent. Sofas need to be cleaned. Easy walk to the beach.

    Really enjoyed this home. Our 4th year in a row to Surfside and definitely will try for the same house next year! It would bea great bonus to have the doggie yard mowed and mosquito spray in the area to help the dogs from getting bitten so badly. Other than that, we loved every second of our stay!
