6 min walk to the beach, Welcome Back is a cozy, pet friendly oceanside cottage!

We had a great week in Salvo and loved the house. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lorrie was so accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was clean and fully stocked with everything you needed. Lorri was in contact with us and emailed information about what we would need to bring, local linen suppliers and rental places. My 3, 11, and 17 year old had a blast with the boogie boards. The porch swing was my favorite along with the outdoor shower! The homeowner is fantastic and we can wait to come back!

Perfett home for us! Roomy, SO pet-friendly, and all the little things in the kitchen and BBQ. Neighborhood is quiet, felt private and the beach access is lovely-beach itself was never crowded. All in all would stay again here in a heartbeat. 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay! Perfect sized home, plenty of amenities, everything you need. Screened porch is great. Outdoor shower is wonderful coming off the beach. My daughter really enjoyed the porch swing. Plenty of nearby restaurants, markets and shopping. Sadly, the closest ORV ramp (#23) is closed Apr-Oct (seasonal). In the summer, the nearest ORV ramp (#25) is a few more miles southbound. Highly recommend for small family or group!

Wonderful home. Very clean and tidy. Longer walk to beach than expected, though. Brother has difficulty walking long ways and the sand on the access path made it impossible for him to go to the beach with the family. Not hostess’s fault as I didn’t let her know of his disability but for some reason I thought it was way closer than it was. Very quiet area. Peaceful place.

We stayed at Welcome Back from July 29-Aug 5, 2023. We had 6 Adults and 3 dogs ( which we pre-approved) the house is clean, kitchen stocked with all the thinks you need. We had plenty of room. We had a very nice time. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Great location!! Had everything we needed. Rooms were comfortable and the screened in porch was a great place to hang out.

This was the first time we were all able to go on a trip together and this was the perfect place for it. We brought our three dogs, who LOVED the deck and we really appreciated the enclosed area for them to have their bathroom breaks. The whole house very thoughtfully laid out, and just perfect for the whole family! We can’t wait to return in the future!

We absolutely loved Welcome Back! The house was perfect for our family and our dog's first trip to the beach. The home was so pleasant and had everything we needed - lots of well thought out touches to make our stay comfortable and easy. It was a short walk to the beach, which was probably our favorite in the Outer Banks. Not crowded at all and the backdrop of the dunes vs. homes made it that much more beautiful. The deck on the house was a perfect place to sit and read and stayed cool with a nice breeze even during the heat of the day. I can't say enough good things about the owner. Her emails with information about Salvo, as well as details of the house were extremely helpful and we referenced them throughout our stay. And an unexpected surprise treat was so wonderful and sweet. I can't wait until we can return!

Plenty of space for our family and everything one would need to cook/eat/sleep. Great location and a short walk to be beach. Plenty to do locally and a short drive to do some of the more popular attractions. The only thing we found issue with was the outside dog pen/grass area listed does not hold smaller dogs (one of the main reasons we reserved the home). Our pups are mini schnauzers and got right out through the gaps between posts and fencing and we had to go find them, which we did. Other then that it was great and we would gladly go again minus our dogs ?
