6 Bedrooms - Waterfront,pool, dock, great for families. Big yard, lots of room.

This home is on a quiet dead end street directly on Palma Sola Bay with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and local bays where dolphins are seen often. The house is surrounded by tropical landscaping, with a heated swimming pool, and a private dock. It is a great place for family reunions or a retreat to nature. This is a great off island property that has lots of parking.It has six (6) bedrooms, four (4) bathrooms. Located in northwest Bradenton, the drive is usually less than 15 minutesto the island beaches. It is also just a short bike ride, run or kayak paddle away from Robinson Preserve. The house has spectacular views of the bay leading out to Anna Maria Island.

The home has a large master bedroom, located on the 2nd floor with french doors leading to the deck / balcony area overlooking the pool and the bay. It has a king-size bed and large full private bathroom. Note that all of the bedrooms have plenty of closet space, tvs , fans, etc. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a room with 3 twin beds along with an office desk overlooking the pool and bay. On the other side of the house, there are two more bedrooms also located on the 2nd floor with its own stairway access. One is a king bedroom that has a toddler bed, the other is a large bunk bedroom with 4 twin beds and 1 queen bed. This room can sleep up to 5 kids or a couple and 4 kids. There is a shared bathroom between these two upstair bedrooms. A door connects the bunkroom to a closet, and the same closet connects to the master bedroom.

On the 1st floor, is another king bedroom perfect for grandparents or those who cannot manage the stairs. The other bedroom also on the 1st floor, has a queen bed with a toddler bed. The two downstairs bedrooms also share another large bathroom.The 4th bathroom is located at the rear of the house and doubles as the pool / patio bathroom, as it has two doors, one from the living room area and the rear patio area. The pool bath towels are usually in this bathroom.

The home has a beautiful kitchen that is fully outfitted for everything you would need. Bedrooms have their own tv and there is also a large tv in the living room, and at the outside patio. Spectrum provides the cable and the high speed Internet.The entire house has beautiful tiled floors, several rooms having wood finished ceilings. The dining room can handle up to 16 guests with the two added bar / eating areas in the kitchen. The living room area has seating for 10 to 12 guests. The laundry room has full-size washer & dryer located off the kitchen, and cabinets for extra storage.

The billiards / pool table room is directly off the front of the house. There are also plenty of board games, variety of books, and a stereo. We have a foosball table and a game table. The outside heated swimming pool(solar and a heat pump) and covered patio area is quite large and overlooks the bay. It has plenty of lounge chairs, several patio tables, a large BBQ grill area, and a pool refrigerator. We also have a Ping Pong table and an outdoor TV. There are no hot tubs just a pool and a small part of the pool that looks like a hot tub section.

This property is fabulous and has a large back yard area overlooking the bay. The water is beautiful and has numerous fish, we occasionally have manatees and dolphins right by the dock. There are also a variety of ducks, blue herons, osprey, eagles, roseate spoonbill(my favorite), white pelicans in the winter, and other wild aquatic birds. The dock is great to watch sunsets from, go fishing, or simply enjoy eating out on the picnic table located right on the dock. This vacation home is just 'off island' and you can be on Anna Maria island beaches in roughly 15 minutes - depending on traffic. The property is close (within a 5 minute drive) to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, movie theaters, golf courses, bowling alleys, etc. Publix is a great grocery store and offers delivery.

This vacation home offers everything for that well deserved tropical getaway. Our past guest love the natural setting and prefer this location to the island with less traffic and your own paradise you may not want to leave. We also have lots of parking which is a great value you won't find with other properties.

The landscape lights at night creates that resort feel. This is a quiet location and great place to relax with family and friends. Please curtail any loud noise after 10PM.

If you need bikes, kayaks or other items please contact one of the local vendors in the area.

Bring your own boat or rent one. The wet slip is limited to one 23 foot boat. Water depth is around 2 feet on low tide. If you have 2 boats let us know and we can usually accomodate 2 boats.

This is a general description and some things move around or change from time to time.

The outdoor space around the pool area and porch have an automated misting system for keeping the mosquitos away. The misting is only a few seconds and the times vary but are around 6:20AM, 6:45 PM, 8PM, and 2 AM. While there is never a guarantee there will be no bugs, this system is pretty good to allow you to enjoy the outsides.

Please recycle your cans and plastic bottlles and any cardboard in the recycling bin. The County has a new Garbage program and without recycling the Garbage cans do not hold everything. Garbage and Recycling day is Tuesday ( Wednesday if Monday is a holiday)

We are happy to share this house and this recent review is what we try to acheive -We could not recommend anyplace higher. We rent a VRBO each year for our family get together and this one has certainly been the best yet!
