The location of Barefoot Dreams is fantastic. The accommodations for our family was great with each group having their own bedroom and bathroom. The patio door on the main floor needs replaced. The throw rug in the kitchen was filthy. Some of the lights need replaced or fixed. The tub in the main bedroom needs a good cleaning with the jets. The refrigerator gasket needs fixed or replaced. Stagger the showers or you will get a cold shower. Some of the controllers for the tv’s didn’t work. The floors were dirty. Our feet were always filthy. The living room furniture has seen better days. We also had a bit of a bug problem.

The house size and beach access was great! The house was pretty clean. The pool was clean and a nice size. The decks were a nice place to sit and relax. We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen. The dishwasher worked most of the trip. It stopped draining the last few days. One downstairs bedroom had a bad odor. We found the source was black mold on the closet wall and behind the ironing board in the closet in that room. We figured there’s be no quick fix for that. We sprayed it with cleaner and kept the closet door shut and rolled up a towel and stuffed it in the opening at the bottom. Of course, as other guests have mentioned, the refrigerator is very small for a 6 bedroom house. There’s a mini fridge on the upper level that helped a little. The fridge was packed the entire time. This probably caused some of the food to start freezing. A larger refrigerator is definitely needed, especially if you plan on doing any cooking. Overall, we had a great trip. We liked the house a lot. There are just a few issues that do need attention. We would definitely stay again.

Property is located across from the beach entrance and only golf Carts are allowed to park at the entrance. Pictures of the house do not do it justice, rooms are bigger than first thought. There is a mini fridge on second floor that can hold more food and drinks. Slider door leading out to porch off livingroom was difficult to open and close, (requires a new slider) dish washer broke on the second day, reported it and it was still broke on day 7 (our departure) No extra toiletries were provided, in the previous houses rented extras were provided. Over all, family had a great time.

I’ll start with the positives! It was a great location. Although you aren’t technically beachfront, you might as well be. You have a great view and beach access right in front of your house. SPACE! Large living areas and seating with a great porch for everyone to use. Each bedroom had their own bathroom with was really nice. The pool was also a nice size. The negatives were the cleaning and overall condition. Dirty furniture, peeling wallpaper, and items left by the previous guests led us to believe it had been only lightly cleaned. Partially smoked cigars laying all around the pool area as well. Be prepared for a small fridge with no working ice maker. We had plenty of coolers to keep drinks cold but had to go for ice daily. Overall we enjoyed our vacation and the location but would not chose this particular house again. I can say that we did have to ask for pest control due to the massive ant hills around the pool and they sent someone the very next morning! We appreciated that.

This house was perfect for our extended family of 12 that included adults. teenagers and younger children. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom-big plus. It was a very short trip to the beach which made it very nice. Downsides: The house could use some overall maintenance. The sliding door did not work and needs to be replaced, the appliances were old (oven did not have an accurate temp and the refrigerator was VERY small to be the only option for a house that large) and lastly, the linens were chain hotel quality and did not include hand towels. For the price house per week these issues could be easily solved.
