The well-equipped kitchen and dedicated laundry room provide all the comforts of home, while the private patio serves as a true highlight—complete with an outdoor dining area, gas grill, and plenty of seating for family cookouts or relaxing evenings under the trees. Guests will also enjoy free Wi-Fi, four complimentary adult bicycles provided by South Beach Cycles, and four beach chairs conveniently available at the home. Added perks include one free hour of tennis daily at the South Beach Racquet Club, with access to the South Beach Pool (located across from the iconic Salty Dog) available for a daily or weekly fee.

The newly renovated Sea Pines Beach Club is only minutes away and provides dining, refreshments, and activities for the entire family. Please note that from March through September, guests must use the complimentary Sea Pines beach shuttle, as parking at the Beach Club is not permitted during this time. Shuttle maps and detailed instructions are provided in the welcome folder.

This home is pet friendly, welcoming up to two dogs with an additional pet fee, making it ideal for families traveling with furry companions. Please be aware that parking is limited to a maximum of two vehicles in the driveway. Parking outside of the driveway is not permitted and may result in fines from the community. Additional vehicles may use the Sea Pines overflow lot with the purchase of a valid car pass.

    Comfy beds and couch. Nice street, location as expected, we fished the pond in the neighborhood. Free bikes were handy and we added a beach trailer to one of them. Bathrooms and kitchen not so great (small spaces and need updating). Showers don't drain well. Cobwebs in some fixtures and window casings. We changed the hvac air filter while there. We likely wouldnt stay at this house again. We love sea pines and this was a last minute booking for us.

    This property is in a great central location in Sea Pines, very close to the stables and nature preserve. 15 minute bike ride to the beach, 25-30 minute bike ride (or 5-10 minute drive) to a community pool. The management firm was responsive. We appreciated the included bikes (adult) and it was simple to rent kid bikes and have them delivered. This is an older home that has been partially updated. The living and dining areas are comfortable as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is functional.

    55 Lawton is the perfect location in Sea Pines, central to all the wonderful areas and easy to bike. The home is lovely with ample supplies, including bikes.

    We LOVED this home!!! Our 12th year coming and our favorite place so far. Living room was super cozy, natural light perfect and plenty of dishes and cookware to make meals. Also location next to the stables was great for bike riding . We will book again!!!

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was fine. Location was good. Home smelled like smoke when we arrived. Will pick another home for our next trip to HH.

    We enjoyed renting the property but there were somethings that were a disappointment. The pool is under renovation this year. We were really disappointed that this wasn’t communicated to us in the listing or in an email. The trolley ride to the beach was pretty far and was complicated if you had a large group and needed to take several items to the beach. Some of the beds felt like they had sand on the sheets. The house was nice and we enjoyed having the bicycles to ride.

    We stayed here for spring break for one week. Pros—bikes were available Cons—property needs a good cleaning, gutters were overflowing with debris, dryer did not work (my husband had to take an hour to clean it so it would dry), holes in blankets, very worn furniture, outdoor space is practically nonexistent. Chairs and table sit on mulch so not much need to ever go outdoors to enjoy a meal. Dishwasher smelled like rotten food when operating. I contacted property manager on Wednesday and never received a call back. Would NOT recommend
