Home had most every supply you could need. Well labeled directions. Easy walk to several small, lovely beaches. Perfect for young children. Stained couches and bed covers need replacing. Outdoor shower and deck wood is rotting and unsafe.
If you're like me and have been visiting the Cape for many years in many ways (cottages, home rentals, hotels, camping, etc.) you love the Cape! That's where three of my stars come from. It's a decent location, a short walk to the bay, which is my fave! However, I didn't like that for the price there's no AC and the cottage was a bit run down. We were asked to do a walk through on day one to look for anything damaged. This was off putting but I'm glad we did, the screen door was broken, a doorknob fell off, and one of the outside chairs was cracked. I certainly did not want to get charged for previously broken items! We booked this last minute and had a great time visiting our usual spots so the trip was a success. It's just that I have stayed in nicer places at the Cape for the same price or even less. Maybe it's the new norm?
