5-Star New Barn Home - Music Studio, Views & Hot Tub

Always a great time and experience year after year returning. Perfect retreat and location to everything the area has to offer.

This is a really beautiful property with very cool amenities. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome nighttime activities, as was the music studio. All the beds were very comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and the speakers are great to listen to music on. The location is nicely situated between Woodstock and Saugerties and not far from other local towns and attractions. Stephen was very responsive and quick to fix any issues that arise. Highly recommend staying here.

Our family of five adults enjoyed a great long weekend at this property. We found it to be spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the views are quite lovely. We took advantage of the hot tub, the large stone fireplace (lots of wood provided), and maybe most fun of all, the music studio. My daughter, who played drums in high school, and my son-in-law, who plays piano, marimba and keyboard, were quite a duo. All in all, a really fun time. Oh... and we discovered a couple of really great restaurants close by.

This is now the 4th time I have stayed at Steve's cabin. Its always a great experience and one I look forward to time and time again. Can't wait for the next one.

The property was just as depicted in the description and photos. Really enjoyed our stay in the woods. A perfect spot to gather and decompress with family. The entire place is fully functional, so guests don't have to make any accommodations. It's important to note that the house is on well water (entire area is, apparently) and the host makes sure to provide drinking water options in both the main house and the recording studio.We would definitely stay again!

Thank you for a great visit. The house was exactly as described with great communication from the host. It was perfect for our extended family gathering (10 people mixed ages). Cozy fireplace, hot tub, well appointed cook's kitchen, with amble space and bedrooms for all. We enjoyed day trips to Woodstock and Rhinebeck - both very close by. We will definitely come back!

House was just as described, easy check in, immaculately clean throughout, well stocked with wood for the fireplaces and very responsive host. Would come back without hesitation.

Get together

The house was impeccably designed and had everything visitors would need. And the view off the front porch was beautiful. It was truly impressive and very relaxing. One small suggestion would be to make the address at the gate more obvious, instead of having it on a tree next to the gate.

We were a group of 5 adult family members having a family reunion. We enjoyed being in this beautiful setting in the midst of a large natural property including a meadow, pond, wetlands and woods. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, with beautiful and fun decor. It's close to many quaint towns and interesting cultural attractions. The owner was very prompt and helpful in his communications. We highly recommend this house!

A great house in a beautiful setting.House was very comfortable, great conversation areas,each bedroom has a full bath. Deck overlooks the mountains and the meadow in front of the house. Great AC in each room.Quiet and isolated location. Would book again!
