We had a lovely time at Hydrangea Hill! The holiday decorations made the place feel so warm and festive. The house is well stocked with pantry items and towels, and the location is excellent; close to town and on a a picturesque street. The hosts were clear and communicative as well. Great experience overall.

An impromptu Mother/Daughter long weekend getaway in the Berkshires...lots of snow, great food, and places to visit, but our favorite spot to be was at home in this beautiful 5 star house. The loveliest host, a home full of beautifully curated spaces that made you feel like you could move in! The most comfortable furniture for relaxing, the very best beds for rest and a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need. We wished we could have stayed longer and can't wait to visit again. You can tell great thought and care went into creating this house on the hill, and we most definitely felt at home. What a gem. The Lenox home in Taconic Ave was an excellent place for our family. It was cozy and fully equipped, had a perfect balance of authentic and modern and Alan was a great host/owner with all the support and explanations one needs to feel immediately like a welcomed guest.

The property was even better than pictured. Lovely home with well appointed kitchen, modern bathrooms, beautiful furniture, and in a quiet and convenient part of town. The owner provided us with an extensive manual of the house and was extremely communicative throughout the pre stay. We would definitely rent this home again!

We spent another fabulous 9 days at Hydrangea Hill! And then booked it again before we left for next year. Alan is the best host. And the house is everything you could hope for. Spacious downstairs with fantastic kitchen - with all the things you need: dishwasher, great stove, great coffee maker, appliance, knives, dishes, silverware. The living is so comfortable with a giant Smart TV and comfy couch and chairs and ottomans. Bedrooms are great. Beds, pillows, linens are top of the line. Bathrooms are great. Shower pressure is heaven. Air conditioning is great and quiet. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. You can walk to town. Oh and the WiFi is strong and reliable. 5 stars is not enough. This house and host are just the BEST!

Every amenity one can think of was readily available and the entire home felt warm and welcoming. Each room was immaculate and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Nice touches were everywhere. The home sits among beautiful trees and greenery making the view from the porch very special. The kitchen, living room, dining area were very comfortable as were the bedrooms and beds. Alan was a great host. His communication was perfect. We would rate this property a perfect 10 and look forward to returning.

If there were a VRBO host ranking higher than Premier, Hydrangea Hill’s Alan should be the first to receive it. Some context: Twice a year, my foursome -- The ParTee Gurlz -- enjoy a 3-day golf getaway -- generally in New England and sometimes in warmer climates on the East Coast. So, we've experienced several rentals over the past few years. While all our hosts and accommodations have been enjoyable, the Hydrangea Hill property was a stellar experience.Alan went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests: from his home’s beautifully manicured gardens and plantings to the welcoming bottle of Prosecco to the Hydrangea Hill tote bag. The property was immaculate and more than roomy enough for our group. Bedding and linens were generous and high quality. All windows and window treatments were in working order. And, the host’s attention to detail even extended to the bathrooms that offered individual makeup remover packs.This antique home has retained its historical charm, yet affords every modern amenity and is beautifully furnished and decorated. Best of all, it’s in walking distance to downtown Lenox shops and restaurants - the best of which recommended by Alan in his thoughtful welcoming notes.

We stayed with friends over a (rainy) long weekend and were very comfortable. The house was furnished and decorated beautifully, had state of the art appliances and very high quality dishes, glassware, pots & pans, etc. We were delighted with our stay.

Alan was wonderful to rent from. He is communicative, responsive and helpful. The house was charming and designed thoughtfully for guests in mind. The beds were super comfortable! The house is 5 minutes from Lenox, which makes going to town so easy. We had some inclement weather, and Alan was gracious and kind, offering us to stay an extra night until it was safe to return home.I highly recommend this getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Hydrangea Hill. The kitchen island and table were a perfect setting to eat and converse. Very comfortable couches and beds, and a really nice living room TV. It was a little cold to be outside on the porch, but could only imagine how nice it is in the warmer months. Perfect location to ski at Jiminy Peak or Bosquet, walk to the all the shops in Lenox, and a quick drive to Stockbridge, Lee, or Pittsfield. We are hoping to return again soon! Thank you Alan!

The home is beautifully maintained, super comfortable and roomy for a family, and within walking distance to downtown Lenox. We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday. The kitchen is well stocked and a joy for a good cook. The owner has thought of every detail, and is very accessible and helpful. We will definitely be back in the summer.

Such a nice, cozy home! Plenty of room for family and very comfortable beds Extremely well stocked from kitchen amenities to extra bedding and towels. Host was great at communication and very helpful. House was in nice area and walkable to shops and restaurants .We’ve stayed at several VRBOs over the years and this one was one of the most comfortable. I would recommend to others.
