5 Minute walk to the Beach, Dog friendly Seagrass Cottage

Very easy access to the beach. Nice view of the water and wonderful beach breeze. The house has everything you need. We even found two beach chairs underneath the house. My oldest daughter was able to bring her dog and take a much needed break. Perfect!!!

This is your place if you want to escape the crowded, cookie-cutter condo high-rises and dense developments. We appreciated that we could experience the coast the way it used to be in this cute throwback beach cottage nestled right in the dunes. It offered the kind of peace and privacy that’s hard to find these days. It’s a gentle, meandering 5-minute walk through sugar-white sand right to the gulf's crystal blue water. The house is flooded with tons of natural light, and because you can open up so many windows and doors, the entire home fills with a wonderful ocean cross-breeze. We loved our 3 day visit in mid-May, before the summer heat set in. We'd definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the Seagrass Cottage. It was well-stocked with lots of fluffy towels, soft cotton sheets and blankets, and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t use the toys for the beach but there were a lot. The outdoor shower was great for the dog. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals at home. The beach was a quick walk through the backyard dunes on a sand path and very easy to get to. We could see the ocean from the deck and had meals out at the table several times. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

Ocean View and nice property

This house was fantastic it really felt like home away from home! It smelled amazing and was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely like to stay here again. It’s almost like you’re in your own little bubble with this house. The kitchen appliances and utensils it comes with is just crazy! From an orange juice maker to a wok and a huge pot for a crab boil. It’s fully stocked. There is a house and a really nice outdoor shower to use when you get back from the beach! It’s just a very near perfect place to stay with a small family.

This location exceeded our expectations! It was so convenient to walk down to the beach. The beach was not crowded. This is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the beach and avoid the busy touristy areas, but still close enough to make a short drive to tourist attractions when you want.

Enjoyed a week long trip with the family. Short walk to the beach, would stay again.

Loved how close we were to the beach, quiet, in a cul de sac. We definitely will stay there again.

The view of the beach from the cottage was wonderful! The space inside was perfect for our family and friends, especially in the living room. Lots of places we’ve stayed have always been more cramped for us all. This was perfect. Everything was great.

We loved our stay. It was so nice to bring our dog along with us. She loved the ocean. The location is perfect. It was so nice to walk to the beach. We went multiple times a day. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck. Would definitely love to come back!

This was the perfect beach house for our family of 4 and dog. The house was very clean and tidy. The house had plenty of room for everyone. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The bedrooms were roomy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, utensils, pots/pans, baking sheets, etc. The “did you forget something “ baskets under the sink in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The surrounding area was vey quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach was short.There were beach chairs and beach toys to use. It was so nice being able to take our dog with us and walk him on the beach. We would definitely rent this home again.

We decided to go away for Thanksgiving this year and found this cute cottage. It was perfect!! We had plenty of space to be together, yet still have our own space when needed. We were the perfect distance to the beautiful beaches. It was quiet and relaxing and just what my family needed this year to have a relaxing and restful break from reality. Thank you to the boys for sharing their cottage!

This house is in a beautiful location. A short walk to the beach. And the beach, was perfect. Some days my family were the only people on the beach. Our kids could explore and have some freedom without us having to worry. Overall a great experience and a great place for kids and families.
