Values Statement:
We feel extremely blessed by God to have the opportunity to share this home with you. We (two brothers and a cousin) grew up vacationing at the lake every summer with our families. The memories we made during those amazing 7 days each year played a large part in our lives and the strong and lasting relationships we formed with our cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. The fact that none of this could have been possible for us without the willingness of families around the lake to open their homes to us back then inspired us to put the work into creating the best sort of place for you and yours to make your own lasting memories.
We look forward to hosting you!

Very nice place. My only complaint is that the burners on the grill need replaced.

The house was in a great location for our family needs. The kayaks and lake activities were great. The house supplies were not adequate. It sleeps 15. We had 2 rolls of toilet paper and 8 towels.

Perfect place for our family vacay. Plenty of room for ourselves, “kids” and grandchildren. We rented a pontoon which added a lot of fun on the lake.

We love staying at this home. It is set up well for a large family, is comfortable and clean. The kids enjoy the small beach and the teens and adults appreciate the kayaks.

Awesome place—beautiful property, great location, and everything was just really well done. The house was exactly as advertised and worked perfectly for family time and hanging out with friends. Super smooth stay all around. We loved it. Would absolutely recommend.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay! Beautiful views and great fishing! This is a great property but there are a few things that need attention. Nothing really major per se, but the pool table isn't usable, neither is the patio umbrella. Several other smaller things that could be improved or repaired. Overall, it's a good rental. It's roomy for a large group, the table size is perfect, we sat there for everything, puzzles, board games, every meal! There was lots of wildlife. We really enjoyed the family's of geese, a beaver, the turtles, sand cranes, and many species of birds. Great location for the kayaks.

This house is very nice for a large family. In the winter time, the game room/garage was a bit COLD to enjoy, but on the summer time, I’m sure it would be a hit along with the downstairs TV room. Sure wish there was a shower in the basement along with the 1/2 bath. I’m not sure I would consider the basement bunk room a bedroom, since it’s more like bunks in a closet, but there’s lots of space for large families. We did not utilize the basement as we did not need the additional beds, but for a bunch of teens, it would be good. There is plenty of dining space in the dining room; nice kitchen with just about everything you would need to do all your cooking (we wish there was a Keurig coffee machine). Theres a great gas grill on the patio along with plenty of eating space as well. The yard area is great. The primary bedroom on the main floor is very nice sized along with an attached bathroom (wish there had been some hooks on the wall for wet towels/clothes, etc.), but otherwise was very nice. It was very nice there were 2 additional king size beds upstairs for add’l parents traveling. Checkin process was great along with all communication. The only downside we encountered, was the steep driveway (in the winter it could be very slippery and hard to get up/down with snow or ice); we just weren’t prepared for that, but it shouldn’t be much of a problem in the summer. We had a great stay and did not run into any issues with the home. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented the house to host “Camp Cousin”. The kids all enjoyed the house especially the game room and Xbox 360. They also played the ultimate game of hide and seek! We loved having a table large enough to all eat together. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows.

Needs some attention to furniture as some is broken or not functional. Dryer didn’t work at all. Space was great for our large family. Kids loved the recreation room. Located near all the things we wanted to do. Clean and neat.

First off, we would definitely return. Just a few items that we would suggest for the future. The kitchen is nice, except there's really no counter space, also a couple of the outlets didn't work. We had to put the coffee maker on the floor to make coffee. The Natural Gas grill was a disaster, looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I cleaned it the best that I could, and had to let it burn for an hour to get the smell and smoke to go away. The rules are confusing, the rules on the wall in the kitchen tell you to put the bedding in the Laundry, the rules in each room tell you to put them at the end of the bed. There were very few wash cloths, also, I get it that the towels are a convenience, but how are you supposed to have eight adults pack to leave, shower, then wash, dry, fold and put away the towels before check out at 10?

Oh, the memories that were made. This was our first all inclusive vacation as a family. We took our pontoon for fishing and boating fun. The children swam fished, played football and enjoyed the kayaks provided. The home was spacious and well equipped. On Saturday we divided into groups of Pokagon hikers (6 and 10 miles), swimmers, fishermen and children watchers. Campfire in the evening. We are still talking about the wonder of watching the children on the deck and out in the water. We LOVED it!!!
