Stayed Sep 19, 2025Prairie Graceland is a great short term rental. Five of us were in town for the Nebraska/Michigan football game. This house provided plenty of room for us. The place is well appointed. We used the front porch a lot during our short stay. The home is in a relatively quiet and very safe neighborhood. We all thought the actual house was nicer than even the listing photos showed. Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024We loved staying in this charming house. The neighborhood was fun and perfect location. We even participated in shopping the neighborhood yard sale weekend. The house was clean and well stocked with many extras. Would love to book again someday.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024This is a sweet place right next to the East Campus of UNL. It is super close to the UNL Dairy Store where you can find delicious ice cream. The home itself is comfortable, cute, clean, and stocked with everything you need. Brian is an excellent communicator and great host. We especially loved the front porch, back deck and sitting area under the pergola. The yard is really nice. The beds were super comfortable.

Stayed May 16, 2024We used this house as home base during UNL commencement weekend with 6 adults staying at varying times. The location was nice - away from all the commotion of city campus, but still close enough. Beds were comfortable, grounds were lovely, dining and living room were spacious and comfortable. Overall, this house served us well, and we even had extended family stop by for an open house (with the owner's permission). To make things better, we suggest: updating the bathrooms. The shower upstairs drained VERY slowly and the downstairs showerhead was very clogged and in need of replacing (easy fix). The downstairs bathroom floor really needs replacing. More counter space and towel racks in the bathrooms, as well as more towels. Some surfaces throughout the property hadn't been dusted (e.g. an open shelf in the kitchen, outdoor furniture, furniture in the bedrooms). The kitchen was large, and had many of the needed utensils, but the drawers were in serious disarray and it was difficult to find things. Also, typical items were either not found/available, or were very low (e.g. dish soap, cork screw, paper towels, trash bags, masking tape). As for the bedrooms, there were not mirrors in each room. Also, there could have been a desk or table added to two of the bedrooms - more surface space is always appreciated. The closets were not at all useable; needed racks and hangers. Need a handrail on top part of stairs. Also, the floors are very creaky - which is charming, but also noisy.

Stayed Jun 21, 2024We loved this house. It is as advertised. We loved being on Professor’s Row and how beautiful the whole neighborhood is. The NU Creamery is across the street and we enjoyed several trips over for ice cream. If we are ever back in Lincoln we will try our hardest to stay here!!

Stayed May 9, 2024The space and location were perfect. We would just make a couple suggestions. There were ants in the kitchen, near the trash can on the floor. Unless you're there for a little bit you may not notice they were there. The cupboards were pretty messy. I'm sure it is hard to keep track of everything, but a little attention in this area would have made this a perfect experience.
