4BR House with Private Pool in Old Orchard Beach

Communication was great through the entire process. The pool was clean and used everyday, weather was beautiful! The house is close to the boardwalk.

We often stay closer to the beach, but our usual rental was having renovations done. Pretty cool to have a pool in OOB!! It was in the 90s our first 3 days so the pool was awesome. The house is nice and clean and has plenty of room - we had 6 adults and 2 teens and did great. There are games, books and dvds to use. Walking to the pier is pretty easy but might be a bit much for the super old/young. Kathi & Ian are super easy to work with and communicate very well.Great place to stay. Thank you!

Overall this is a great place to stay. The location to the beach and the private pool were equally favored by our group. Some of the information is outdated, for example the trash pick up and wifi information. The house has a lot of stuff which made it feel cluttered. We also were not overly impressed with the cleanliness. The backyard/pool was wonderful. We spent almost everynight poolside.

We had a great time staying in OOB at this property. It was centrally located and made a great base for day trips out to different locations and restaurants. It was located close enough to the pier and beach to get there easily but far enough away that we didn’t feel like the noise or crowds were any issue whatsoever. The house itself was nice and the pool, especially since it got very warm a few days, was a godsend. We took advantage of the pool after a particularly hot day and came back and near immediately jumped in to cool off and splash around and make some fun memories with everyone. Communication with our hosts, Ian and Kathy, was easy. They were very responsive and made sure to check in on us given the heavy rains the first couple of days. We will definitely consider renting this property again if/when we return to the OOB area.

It was everything we thought ot would be. The house was great and the pool was a hit! The owners were easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place!!

Our family had a wonderful week in this home in OOB. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable for our extended family, and we were able to enjoy the pool every day. It is conveniently located and easy to get to the many activities available in OOB. The beach is just over a half mile away and is walkable for most. We do suggest you go early in a vehicle to leave beach items for the day. We found plenty to do from early morning through the evening for everyone whose ages ranged from 6-73! The communication with owners was excellent and we would definitely recommend this rental for a great vacation experience.

We had a very nice stay here. The house was spotless when we arrived and super cozy. Communication was great between the owners. The pool was amazing and such a bonus to our stay. We also had great nights sleep every single night which is unheard of! Would definitely recommend! Thank you for opening your home to us!

I was really lucky to come across this rental just as someone else canceled so I was able to book it for our July trip. Good location and great pool area. The owners were very nice to work with.

Check in was great. Kathi provided very detailed instructions that were simple to follow. The pool is AMAZING!! It literally made our vacation! The location is great! Just minutes from everything. Our first night was a bit rocky as there was a very active yellow jacket nest under the stairs leading to the pool. Her son had an exterminator come out and remove the nest the following afternoon. We really appreciated that. The Cons: I gave the cleanliness a 3 because the silverware drawers were very dirty. Mist dishes in the cabinets were dirty and several pots and pans. The kitchen could use a thorough cleaning for sure. The bath mats were dirty from the previous tenants so I had to wash that right away. My first night was literally spent cleaning. We did not open any windows yet there were consistently large flies (killed 5-10 everyday) screens were very damaged on most windows on the first floor. We tried taping around the holes but it didn't help. We didn't want to keep bothering Kathi, so we just dealt with it. This home was good but has potential to be great with a little bit of work.
