4BR Beachfront Home - Sandy White Beaches at Your Backdoor!

It was great. Beach off the porch, white sands and close to town.

I wasn’t going to write a review because I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I didn’t feel right letting someone book their dream vacation not having a realistic description of the place. The photography is very creative and manipulating. It’s not near as big as it looks in the photos. They say it accommodates 12 people we had ten and all had a place to sleep but did don’t see any other place. There’s no master bathroom. The appliances are out dated especially the fridge. It is so small I had to shop every day because it only had enough space for one days of food. The grill is small and rusty. The property was full of trash. My daughter got eaten up by fire ants. The cabinets are out dated the blinds are cracked up and one fell off the window. There was six towels and four wash cloths not enough silverware for ten people. The dryer lint trap was dangerously full my wife dug out two Walmart bags full of lint out of it. It wasn’t filthy inside but not clean either. We brought our own bedding but what we took off the bed was stained. The location was great. But hard to find at night because of the lack of outside lighting. The lighting inside is totally out dated. If these things don’t matter to you then this is a great place to vacation because of the location. I expected a lot more than we got for 5500 for one week that four house payments and change for me and my place is bigger and nicer. We still had a great vacation the beach is beautiful!

We had the best time for my daughter’s birthday! Will definitely rebook! The home was decorated for us for her bday upon arrival! The beach was fantastic! And easy to get to! 10/10!!! 5 stars!!

It was great for us - we had 4 parents and 6 high school seniors. They had a wonderful and meaningful time together. The location necessitated driving for most things (except the “Waves” store, etc. There were an abundance of “man-o-wars” and red flags, but that didn’t stop them from having fun. The kitchen was well stocked (make sure to get extra trash bags, TP, dishwasher detergent, etc. ). The check out process was so easy (but we had difficulty locking the door). Thank you for a delightful vacation.

As repeat guests, we love the location, beach access and feel “at home” while we’re here.

After a small issue on arrival, which the Property Manager took care of quickly, we had a great time. The house has clean and had all of the cooking items needed. I do agree with other posts that other VBROs give you more starters (more then one roll of toliet paper per bathroom) but besides that great trip.

The home was clean and as described. Great location right on the beach. My only complaint is the amount of “starter supplies” in the unit. A home that says it can sleep 12 people should have more than a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and more than a single garbage bag in the kitchen. There was also only a single dishwasher pod and no sponge to hand wash dishes. Only being there for 3 nights and with 6 people (1/2 the number this unit holds) shouldn’t require a trip to the store for basic necessities.

The location is great and is the best part of this property! It can't get much better. It's right on the beach, just over the sand dunes. The home itself is very basic. Just enough updates have been made to push it to not old. The bathrooms each have 1 small sink--this is hard to see in the pictures. The supplies were minimal....no hand towels, 6-8 washcloths which was fine for 2 people-but with 4 bedrooms, maybe there are sometimes more?1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 dishwasher pod. I reached out 3 days before arrival to inquire about beach chairs or service and did not hear back until our check out date. Overall, it served its purpose and Gulf Shores is a great beach area.

Right on the beach, had plenty of beach gear at the house, was very clean & comfortable.

Great location right on the beach. Everything worked like it should. No hassle with check in/out. Host responded quickly when i reached out. Only downside was the beds are very hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.

Overall, we loved our stay! Location was perfect! Our only comment would be that some of the mattresses seemed like they needed to be replaced. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and would definitely stay again.

Loved vacationing at Luna Sea! Very affordable but not really “you get what you pay for” as it was super cute and well kept. Honestly, I think the only “complaints” we would have is the back door know was a little loose which made the door harder to open and I would recommend a little shade over the deck. We did make do with an umbrella as the picnic table did have a hole for one. Would recommend!

Location was great! Home was very accommodating. The host was very easy to work with. We will definitely rebook another stay. Everything is as described or better.

Luna Sea was perfect- there was a little sand area right off the back staircase for the kids to play. There were a lot of leftover beach toys, including a small kiddie pool, an umbrella and a few beach chairs (we did not use them- not sure the condition). We used the grill a few nights and sat on the back porch every morning and evening (plenty of seating). There was a Keurig and regular coffee pot, plenty of pots and 2 sheet pans and all of the regular dishes you would need. The house was very accommodating and comfortable for the 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids). The AC worked GREAT, and the hot water and water pressure did not disappoint. We were 1/2 mile from a little grocery, ice cream shop and seafood restaurant (as well as a fresh Seafood order-to-go place *S&S Seafood*). We could not have chosen a better beach house to stay in for the week. We will check for availability at this house when we visit again!

Great location right on the beach not right in the middle of everything but close enough to all attractions. Just as described house is stocked with 'starter' basic supplies. Bring your paper towels, TP, and dish soap. Not complaining just explaining. Beds are comfy. View from inside and outside house is phenomenal!

Overall it was a great week! This is the first time we stayed in a house and we loved the quietness, direct access to the beach, the parking, it was pretty clean upon arrival. The bedding was not and Blake took care of that the following day. The house is older and needs some updates for sure. Needs a table with an umbrella since the porch is not covered, lights going upstairs on the side and back the lights do not work, makes it dangerous. The cooking pans were not very good.( everything sticks) the bunk beds are very wobbly, furniture on porch needs replaced… it’s wobbly and worn and very uncomfortable. I felt we paid a big price and would have liked it to have been in a little better shape as far as things being updated. Also need to leave more wash clothes We barely had enough for everyone to shower each day. We had to make sure we washed them before the next shower, no extras at all! But overall we had a great week, felt safe and enjoyed staying in the house!

Great spot for our extended family. Location and spot in the beach was great. Kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed and we even grilled out with the charcoal grill!

Very clean! Location was ideal for teens (17-18) to walk and parents to relax on the beach.

We took a last minute trip with some of our kids and it was great to have the beach literally steps away. It could use some updates to the mattresses but there was more than enough room for us and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the property was great except the two king beds need new mattresses.

You can't beat the location. The deck facing the beach gives you beautiful views from sun up to sundown and stars at night.

It was a wonderful house, with a great beach area. Our only problem was when we would turn the tv on at night before bed, we couldn’t sign into anything. We could only watch one channel.

This is a great location right on the beach with great bedroom set up. The house is set up well for non-consumables but a little sparse on consumables. Only 1 roll of tp per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 bar of soap, no shampoo, no cleaning spray, no backup rolls, etc. We purchased this stuff and overall great house.
