This is a beautiful property with excellent hosts!

The house was beautiful and provided a lot of space. It was very clean and came with all necessities. The only thing missing was oven mits. The host kept in contact and provided you with everything you needed to know ahead of time. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

This rental shines due to its prime location in Mount Washington, offering easy walking access to the Grandview Overlook, the Monongahela Incline, and local favorites like Coughlin’s Law restaurant and DiFiore’s Ice Cream. The home is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly.The standout feature is the highly responsive host, who is proactive and committed to guest satisfaction. When issues arose, such as missing essentials or electrical glitches, she immediately arranged for deliveries and repairs.Key Considerations•Amenities: The kitchen and bathrooms were low on basics (paper towels, hand soap, wine glasses) and cutlery. It’s best to pack some essentials or coordinate with the host.•Layout & Maintenance: All three full bathrooms are on the second floor, which may be inconvenient for those in the third-floor bedrooms. Some interior doors don't close fully, and a few outlets/lights were non-functional during the stay.•Neighborhood: The area is a mix of well-maintained and neglected properties. While some neighboring yards are cluttered, we felt felt safe throughout the visit.Final Verdict: A solid, well-located choice for travelers who value a dedicated host and proximity to Pittsburgh’s iconic sights.

Clean and comfortable

House itself was cute and in a great area. The home was NOT clean, it was a 4/10 at best. My mother and I spent the first 4 hours deep cleaning and washing all linens and putting back on the 4 beds. Obviously the cleaning crew had not done the job that I as the VRBO GUEST paid for. The couch covers were DISGUSTING....we removed those and washed before we could sit on the couch. Bed linens were full of dog/human hair and a lot of dust balls. Floors and bathroom rugs had not been cleaned and the bathroom rugs you could tell had probably never been washed or even shook out. Entire front of house was full of trash and you could hardly get thru the sidewalk upon our arrival. When we left 7 days later, it had still not been picked up. I alerted the host as I felt bad for her, especially if she is not local to check behind the cleaners routinely. Even with my videos and pictures, she said the cleaners sent her satisfactory images that they cleaned. I could not believe her response. I never wanted any refund or discount, I simply wanted her to know this as a VRBO host myself. The most concerning issue was the lighting and electricity issues. The 3rd floor had power issues so there was no lighting on steps to the attic style 3rd level. We had to use our cell phone flashlights. One bedroom had a working ceiling light, only 2 working outlets, other bedroom had only 2 working outlets but NO working ceiling light at all. We could deal with the ceiling light, but NOT on the STEEP steps.

Our group of four friends stayed at this property for a golf trip in the Pittsburgh area and found it to be an excellent home base. The house is recently updated, very clean, and well stocked, with ample space and bathrooms for a group. The quiet Mt. Washington location is ideal and walkable to local restaurant. It was convenient for accessing courses and attractions across the city. Overall, a comfortable, well-maintained property that we would gladly return to.

The house was perfect for my family of 5 adults. Great accommodations ! We had our own space with private bedrooms/bathrooms but also nice common space. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to great bars and restaurants. All the amenities we needed and a great location to experience the best of Pittsburgh. The host was very responsive to our questions. We all had a wonderful time.

We are a family of 5 adults. We were visiting family in Pittsburgh for family events. This house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the Mt. Washington location was convenient plus around the corner were amazing city views! We enjoyed the front porch with its porch swing and two rockers. The parking in back was great too! The kitchen set-up enabled us to have family over for dinner. The kitchen and the three bathrooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bedrooms were clean and bright, and the beds were comfortable too! Communication with our hosts was easy and they were responsive to our questions. This house was a great choice for us!

This Mt. Washington home is just as described and was perfect for our group of friends for Easter weekend. The neighborhood was quiet and fun to walk around. Great views of the city and river! Grace was an excellent host who quickly responded to our questions and made check in and out seamless. Thank you Grace and Chibi for sharing this comfy fun home with us!

We had a nice stay and loved that there were 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths! The teenagers each took a room upstairs and adults to the bedrooms on the 2nd floor, each with their own bathroom and a shared bathroom on the second floor for the teens to use. We spent a long weekend exploring the city, including a Pirates game and a fun Sunday at PuttShack and Coop de Ville. Less than 15 minutes drive to most areas we visited. The hosts were quick to reply to any questions we had and were flexible when we had some last minute changes with our booking. The downstairs does not have a kitchen table and could have used a bit more seating in the living room, but we made it work. That was the only downside for our family who loves playing games, but it was as described in the listing and we could sit around the kitchen island. Just wanted to point that out in case others stay with family or younger children. Overall, we had a great first experience in Pittsburgh and would love to come back. We even saw some deer in the alley when we returned home one night! Parking in the back was perfect size for our two medium-sized SUVs.

Great hospitality and home that welcomed us once we arrived. Plenty of room and awesome accommodation with multiple bathrooms. Real close to sport stadiums but wished the Steelers would’ve won. Can’t beat the Steel Nation and can’t beat this home. Amazing place to book your next vaca. I

Urban Oasis on Mt. Washington is a great property, exactly as seen on site. We come to Pittsburgh at least once a year for a football game and have stayed in many homes. This was by far the best. First, the location was great with nice restaurants nearby. Next, it is almost unheard of to find a short term rental with 3.5 bathrooms in this city. The decor is beautiful and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The owners were responsive and made us feel at home. We didn’t cook this time, but I would have felt comfortable trying to make a meal. Will definitely be earmarking this one for next year.

Excellent comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, very responsive hosts. Slept great and had great runs with fantastic views of Pittsburgh skyline.

We had a great time at this location, the house was spacious enough for two families. We had enough beds and the location of the house was perfect to head to local restaurants in Mount Washington, and then head down to the Steelers game on Sunday! Great communication with the host throughout our visit!

Clean house with all amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Off street parking in the back of the house was a plus.
