I rented this space for my women’s Bible study group. We were delighted with how much space there was. This place is great for large groups. Seven of us fit around the table great and plenty of room to sit around the tv for movies as well. The smart tv gave us lots of choices! The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed for cooking several meals. Beds were comfy and everything was so clean. They provided plenty of towels too! We were all very pleased. Thank you!
Terrible. Not clean. Outdated. Hot tub broken. Pool leaking. Smelled like a mildew musty basement. Pots and pans outdated. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
It was ok, won’t go go!
I loved not having close neighbors, the greenery and the backyard with its fence to keep your dog in is a major plus. There are a couple of spots on the fence a dog could get out but we blocked them with cement pieces we saw lying around and our dog was safely kept in place. There is a bathroom outside with toilet and sink which was wonderful for when you were wet and didn't want to go in the house. Also there was a closet with some pool noodles for the kids. Indoors they provided beach towels in addition to the bath towels in the bathroom which was a plus. The hot tub and the pool looked very clean. I did spend some time every morning saving spiders and bugs that would fall in to the pool but there is a net to get them out if you're afraid of just picking them up like I was doing. Bugs are a part of nature but I will say we never left the property and we did end up with several bug bites. I would highly recommend bug spray. I saw bunnies and deer on site which was lovely but with wild animals come fleas and ticks. If you're bringing your dog please give them a preventative as it gave me great peace of mind that my dog is on Bravecto as she did pick up a tick in the side yard. I have played horseshoes before in work tournaments and I thought the horseshoe pits could use some throwing lines and they are on uneven ground. A minor nitpick I know but it made it harder to play and discouraged me from wanting to figure out where that throwing line should be and playing. The kitchen has a lot of kitchenware and a nice drinking glass cabinet but I would recommend bringing a cutting board as there was none provided and it was difficult to chop veggies on plates if you plan to prepare meals like I did. There was ample space inside but I did notice a smell of mold indoors and it caused me some congestion (which could very fairly be from outdoor allergies as well). Bring some antihistamine if you suffer from allergies. The few extra touches that would throw this place over the top is some pest control treatment inside and out, some horseshoe lines to know where to throw from and a cutting board in the kitchen. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the backyard space and our complaints are minor with many expected in nature and older homes.
