Host provided what was needed

Everything was clean and orderly when we arrived and our stay was pleasant. The house was well stocked for cooking and there were e even towels put out for our pups. The only drawback was a steeply pitched driveway where you have to be cautious pulling out onto a fairly busy road. The property is beautiful and would be a great place to gather in warmer weather. The house is perfectly comfortable and suited our needs well.

We had a great time at our stay - very convenient location close to both towns of Woodstock and Saugerties.

We had a wonderful stay at our rental home in Saugerties. The house had everything we needed—including plenty of A/C units, which were a lifesaver during these hot summer days. The property itself was beautiful. We especially loved relaxing by the pool and watching the blue heron that visited the pond several times.The location was ideal: close to local attractions, charming Hudson Valley towns, and great hiking spots like Kaaterskill Falls. Just a five-minute drive to the supermarket, Starbucks, and CVS, which made things super convenient.A big shoutout to the AvantStay team—they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

The property was great to house our big family for my daughter's college graduation.

The house was super cute and clean!! The only concern for us southerners was that there was no central A/C. We visited in late April and the weather turned out to be in the high 70’s, so it got a little warm in the house. We messaged the host and we were informed that they install window units for the warmer months, we just wished it was in the description. There were a couple of extra fans there we used. They had sheets galore, but only 2 washcloths per room so we had to wash almost everyday to have enough. The outdoor buildings on the property were not noted in the description, so we were slightly concerned when we first arrived, but we got used to them after being there. The pond was a nice added touch, we saw turtles, ducks, deer and eagles!! It’s in a very quiet area with plenty of yard for kids to play. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but wished we could have been a little more prepared for the unknowns!!

6 adults stayed here for my moms 70th birthday. We do a lot of cooking the open downstairs floor plan was perfect. While someone was cooking could still be part of the conversations. The kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful meals, even was able to grill steaks one night when the weather held up. The screened in porch by the pond was relaxing. At the pond we saw a beaver, heron, and even some deer. The hosts were quick to respond when we reached out. We went into Hudson and Woodstock. We hiked Kaaterskill Falls. Also We went to Phoenicia Dinner for a brunch. Had a beautiful birthday dinner at Stissing House. Such a lovely location with so much to do near by.

House was clean and comfortable well supplied with everything you could need.

We had a lovely stay for our family of 5 during the week before xmas. The home was well appointed, with all the normal needs we have to cook, etc... The house was very quiet despite 5 of us being there. Everyone had their own space. Very cozy. Loved that there were games to play, we had a great family round of monopoly!The property manager was so responsive. We felt very supported and attended to. Despite the cold weather the house stayed plenty warm as well!We highly recommend this home and would love to return if our plans take us back to the Hudson Valley!

Cute farm house type located only short distance from town

Everything was great! The house is beautiful and the property was picturesque. Perfect place to stay for fall. The only fault was the steep driveway into a busy road. Near enough to shops and stores and the thruway. Loved our time here!

We had a great stay at this house. The pool was a good size with a deep end. It was really nice to have a pond behind the house. There were several comfortable beds but the trundle was very uncomfortable. The multiple decks were nice. The shampoo and conditioner provided were very nice. Kitchen was lovely and spacious. The house had a little more wear and tear than was evident from the pictures. There was no hammock but there is a picture of one in the listing. The immediate area wasn’t very walkable. But we very much enjoyed the house and pool, decks and yard and short drives to Woodstock and Saugerties.

We loved the pool especially - entertaining for the entire family ranging from age 7 months to 72 years. A beautiful blue heron flew overhead often enjoying the adjacent small pond. The house included most all of what we needed though the first floor bedroom was much too small for anything but the bed.

Had a wonderful time with my college friend and her family. There was plenty to do with pool and little pond for fishing, we enjoyed local hiking with our families and had wonderful meals all together. Thank you again!!
