The house itself was great for what we needed, but the host (Jake) was slow to respond (messaged and left voicemail). The AC was not working and the house was 81 degrees for our entire first day! We had to sleep with the windows open, and this neighborhood is a rundown suburb with a back alley behind the home. We finally got a response the morning after and had the AC fixed, but the workers left the back door wide open! Luckily our stuff was intact and everyone was safe, but that was another unfortunate situation. We also noted these photos are somewhat outdated, given the living room furniture during our stay was slightly different and the front and back landscaping was also very different.

We had a wonderful time for a ladies trip/ birthday weekend. House was a great location in being close to sea world and gas light area. The private parking is in the back alley behind the house. The host had everything ready and all details to check in and codes were in the Vrbo app. Beds were comfortable and pillows and Blakey’s were a plenty. Wonderful memories. Highly recommend!!!

My family and I enjoyed staying at this home. The home is very spacious, clean, and in a great location just outside of the city. The home had extra blankets, an iron, washer and dryer so we felt right at home. The parking in the back of the house was amazing radically coming home later at night with no more on street parking available. The host is a great communicator and I would recommend staying here to anyone especially with your family.

Had a nice time staying here. all attractions are a short Uber ride away. Spacious enough for 9 adults with everything you could need there.

Close to downtown

The house Comfortably fit our family. We choose this house for the price and location which is a 10 mile drive to San Diego zoo. The host was communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood is not the greatest but the house itself is great. Overall for the value of the price, location, and cleanliness, I would stay here and recommend this home. Also, there is a nearby Neighborhood Walmart about 1 mile away.

My friends and I really enjoyed our time here! Minutes from many San Diego staples and grocery stores. My favorite part was the backyard parking. If I find myself down in SoCal with a large group again, I will be seeking this property out to stay! Thank you Anna!

Anna was a great host. She was responsive and friendly. The house was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a getaway weekend with my family. It was also nice and convenient being near a bunch of tourist spots.
