Lewes was a great place to stay during the holidays with all of the decorations displayed throughout the town. The house was perfect (it even had a small Christmas tree on the table). The house was great with lots of supplies for cooking and enjoying some R&R. Everything was perfect. Would come back and stay again.

We had our two girls and their husbands and our four grandchildren (ages 9, 7, 5 and 4). The location is a nice walk to the beach, or town. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes up to the beach. The home itself was very clean (except for the grill) and was well equipped. The rental management company was very accommodating. Easy check in and check out. We will definitely keep this house in mind if we vacation in Lewes again. One last note, we lost power four times during our stay, not weather related, I don't know if this is common in this part of Lewes.

The location and house layout were wonderful. There is a lot of potential for this to be a great rental. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the house, especially when we pay a 300 cleaning fee. There was an entire bedroom drawer full of opened Girl Scout cookies and trash. Toilets had clear remnants of urination on the seats and some trash cans were not emptied upon arrival. We brought our own linens, which was planned, but used linens remained at our doorstep for our entire stay from maybe a previous family. We were not provided with toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags. The thermostat was also set to schedule, that we could not change. The house got into the 50s at night, meaning we had to wake up to reset the thermostat. And one thermostat was in someone’s bedroom, making it awkward any time someone needed to increase the heat.

My friends and I enjoyed staying at this house immensely! It is just a 10 or so minute walk to the beach, which is calm and beautiful and perfect for friends and family. The house had exactly what we were looking for - multiple porches for outdoor eating and hanging, a big living room and kitchen, and a grill! The only thing that I would mention wasn't my favorite was paying extra for linens. I have rented many properties over the years and have never seen a $300 charge for linens before. While it is an optional charge, it's still something that most other listings have included (as part of the cleaning/rental fees). Besides that one inconvenience, everything else was lovely. Management was easy to talk to and answered me and my friends' questions quickly. We'd definitely come back!
