4800 sq ft 5-bedroom house, Huge Deck. 85-in TVs 7 mins to downtown and Marion

The first sign was the door knocker hanging by one screw dangling on the front door. Much in poor repair. Wobbling stair rails, sink didn't drain, grill didn't work (extra irritating since we had contacted the host ahead to confirm they had a grill so they knew it would be used) and multiple TVs throughout the house (some rooms with multiple) and most didn't have remotes. On the positive, very nice appliances and kitchen/family room area.

The house itself was gorgeous and clean. Unfortunately the pool was unuseable, which we wete not told. But over all our stay was wonderful. We loved sitting on the decks and seeing the deer every night. I will rent from him again

Overall, this is not worth the price. Location is perfect. The overall looks great.... then reality sets in. House is advertising to hold a good amount of people/bed ratio. Downfall only 2 towels for showers. 3 forks for food. A dishwasher full of dirty, rusty pans for cooking. Grill looks to have never been cleaned. Way out of date food left in fride. Pool..... awful. Water was not full till 10 hrs after checking in. Pumps never turned on. Chemical baskets that float were empty. Thick green algae covered the bottom. There was scum floating on top of the wat water. Even a metal screw rusted and sitting at the bottom of one corner. I did reach out and basically was told to clean it myself as I was allowed to check in early. If I could rate this with negative stars I definitely would.

Just after 2 short hours of checking in my friends and I were ready to check out. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed, pillows were yellow without pillow cases and the mattresses had nasty stains on them. Overall upkeep of the house was very poor, highly recommend trusting the comments on a property before booking. As I thought a couple people just had a bad visit but turns out I was highly mistaken as I was very disappointed.

Let’s just start with we had to either wash or change all bedding. All dishes were nasty. Lots of crap everywhere. Hot water was scalding, we love this! The house could be amazing but wax trashed

We stayed with our family including small children. We always try to get a place with a large enough common area so the kids can play and this place had plenty of room. However, many of the outlets throughout the house had exposed outlets and the place was very dirty. The dishes were dirty, no matter if we got them out of the cupboard or out of the dishwasher. The coffee maker had a used pod in it and was too dirty to use anyways. There was a used Kleenex on the night stand of a bedroom and old nails on the floor of the bathroom. We had to ask for a garbage bag and extra toilet paper which was answered promptly, and extras were delivered. Don’t think it’s worth the money to stay here again.

The down stairs shower water temp could not be adjusted and the drain was clogged and would take a long time to drain so a shower in that bathroom was not an option. The shower wall was also loose and appeared as if it was going to fall. The other showers in the house were so small, it made it difficult to shower in them. The towels did appear to be clean and we cleaned them and all the linens ourselves, prior to use. The dishes were dirty and had to be washed before use. The coffee maker would not work and was dirty. The over all cleanliness of the home was very poor, and made it uncomfortable for the entire stay. The stay at this location made our trip very disappointing. We would NOT stay there or recommend this location again and would strongly suggest for others to reconsider until improvement can be made and documented.
