4200 Square Foot Custom Beach Cottage with Pool

Pool was wonderful and the kitchen was large enough for a big group.

The host was awesome and very responsive! We loved the house and the central location. The kids loved the pool and being able to walk to the beach.

Our only unforeseen challenge was not having toiletries available! Everything else was awesome. We really enjoyed our trip to St. Augustine. Several members of our group said they would love to host their own weekend at this rental.

The host was very responsive and flexible. The house was excellent, spacious, and accommodating. Great kitchen. The one suggestion I would make is to provide soap and shampoo/conditioner in all bathrooms.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, very spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is huge, which was a plus for our family of 16. The grandchildren enjoyed the heated pool, and we all enjoyed the outdoor space - plenty of seating, and the outdoor TV was a nice feature. The location of the home was great. Although it is located on a busy street, we never heard traffic noise at all once inside. Plus, we spent most of our time in the back area anyway. It was a relatively short walk to the beach through a very quiet residential area. And the drive into St. Augustine was quick and easy. The owner was responsive to our needs, and check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, nice size rooms.Only downsides was the refrigerator / freezer was rusty, and the dishwasher didn’t work properly.

10/10 stay and location

Pool was too cold, but we didn't have much time to enjoy it anyway, so no big deal. Master bath door on the side of the shower would not stay shut. That was literally the only thing wrong with the stay, again, not a big deal. Home is beautiful. Might want to update pictures as we were looking for a yellow house with red shutters and the house is now white with blue shutters (MUCH BETTER! LOL) but a surprise.

Very nice layout and comfortable beds. It is now painted white on the outside (instead of yellow as pictured) so at first that confused us when arriving but the property served us well.

The house and location were perfect for a group of friends spending a long weekend at the beach. The house has large gathering areas that worked well for our group and is within a short walk to the beach. Our group had a great time here.

Really nice house. Had some quirks but we really enjoyed the week here. Communication was easy and very reaposive. We did find everything we needed and used the pool in the evenings. The outdoor bar with the overhang was fantastic for hangout at night to wind down after a day in the sun. Would recommend.

Visited from Kentucky along with family from Jacksonville!

This property is great for family gatherings. There are plenty of places to socialize, play games, and eat meals and also plenty of spaces to read, relax poolside, or nap alone if you choose. The location is perfect. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to downtown St Augustine. Our family loves this property and have had every family reunion there for the past 10 years!

This is a wonderful property. Plenty of room for a big family gathering. The pool and outside bar were a wonderful addition. We cooked meals everyday. Plenty of kitchen space, utensils and dishes for a large group. The short walk to the beach was enjoyable and the wagon and various floats and toys were appreciated. We had a major ac failure but communication was excellent and Tiffany was fantastic and saved the day.

It was our second time staying here and it was awesome! Perfect family home, spacious and pool are is so fun!!I highly recommend this property.

Pictures do not do this place justice. Kitchen and outdoor patio are the highlights of this property! Tons of space and well maintained!

Spacious, clean and convenient

This property was exceptional- from the gourmet kitchen to the pool and outside entertainment area, this home checked all the boxes. It is extremely spacious and comfortable and the location was convenient to where we needed to be. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing time together w family and/or friends.

Wonderful location and big home for our big party. Very happy about the pool gates and the amenities. Few notes for property manager: no dust pan, the dishwasher was not working accurately- needs to run multiple washes in order to get dishes clean. Electricity for outside bar was not working. Outside shower did not work. Ceiling lights in twin bedroom did not work.

We enjoyed our stay very much. 2 critiques, shower in master bathroom draining very slow. Bedroom that overlooks pool, needs to have blackout curtains or shades.

There are Pros and Cons to every rental. PROS: We were 4 adult couples and had plenty of room and space. The table in the dining room was very large which was great for all of us to converse. The large kitchen helped a lot for us to make breakfast. The price was great for 4 couples to share and it was close to the hotel our cousin was getting married in. CONS: It was right on a main road which was louder in the front of the home, the rooms are very bright in the morning so bring eye masks. The drains were slow(I addressed this with owner and she said she would take care of it). The beds upstairs were a little more firm. We had a great stay and would stay again.

Overall this was a great vacation and nice place to stay! We would likely rebook in the future. That said, there are a few areas for improvement: 1. The location on a busy road was a surprise. 2. The house and contents are showing wear. There were broken items, some remotes didn’t work, and the drains were slow. 3.Smoke alarms are needed in all bedrooms & the pool fence isn’t very secure. Overall we were happy!

Beautiful home and accommodations. Quick walk to beach and every amenity you could need. Truly a magical weekend for a group of women reconnecting to the Lord.

Took the extended family there (11 total) to celebrate out 50th, Plenty of room and plenty of parking. Close enough for daytime excursions to several points of interest and only a short walk to the beach.

House was nice well maintained and close to everything listing was accurate. Check in and out were easy and we had a blast.

I loved everything about this house, it’s beautiful inside and out and my family loved the house as well. We needed something large for our big family. Beautiful and large kitchen to cook in! The host was great and easy to reach if needed. If I need another large house to stay in at the beach I will be coming again!

We have stayed at this house in 2021. When i found it again, i booked it, and then told my family about it! We absolutely love this house and St Augustin! Hopefully we will get the chance again! Great house for families with kids, Pool has fences for safety!

Had a great stay house was perfect for our family of 14. Easy walk to beach. Pool was awesome!!!! Beds were comfortable and everything we needed was here. Great communication with host.

We had a little different finding the location at first. We did not realize the house was on such a busy road. Once we were in we had a fabulous time. The pool was a big hit!! Clean open rooms. The house was absolutely beautiful!! The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad, I think we should have rented a golf cart. Garbage day was stressful because we were not sure where to put the cans. The neighbor shared the drive where we put the trash cans , otherwise all was wonderful
