The cabin is called the Baker Haus in honor of its Bavarian roots. Our great grandfather Herman Steiner settled in Glacier at the turn of the century from Bavarian Germany.
Having 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this lodge is the ideal place for a vacation with the whole family, a large group of friends, and even some events like small weddings or retreats (additional fee for events $2,495 package).

Stayed Jan 2, 2026Host was very welcoming. Made an exception and allowed us to bring a dog. The house was amazing, big, and comfortable. The beds and bedding were very comfortable The kids loved sleeping together in the upstairs bedroom.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025This was the perfect landing place before our Ragnar race. We had enough room to spread out and yet be together. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking supper and breakfast. We also appreciated the location near the Tex Mex bbq restaurant for an option out.

Stayed Sep 8, 2024A bit worn and come-as-you-are. So, maybe not a 5-star for everyone but worked perfectly for our large group of hikers. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to hang out. Everything was in working order and check in/out and communication with owner was excellent. Really nice location in town and close to a couple of great restaurants and coffee shop and even a place to pick up some grocery items (though not a full shop). For a large group of active people, I'd recommend it.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024The property was absolutely perfect! There are tons of beds and space for a large group! We hosted our wedding celebration there and couldn’t ask for it to be any better! The property was very clean when we arrived and Cecelia was great at responding. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
