Avoid this property. It was dirty, poorly maintained and in desperate need of serious work.Light switches were falling off the walls, the dishwasher didn’t work, chairs were broken, the hob was damaged, the mattresses were uncomfortable, and the whole place felt neglected. The cupboard under the sink was mouldy and disgusting, and there was food left in the freezer from a previous guest.The kitchen was poorly equipped, with very few utensils and no hand towels, tea towels, cloths or bin bags. The fridge door shelves were missing, making storage awkward.The garden was completely overgrown and unusable, the conservatory roof appeared to be held on with a tarpaulin, and several bedroom blinds were broken.The whole house was heavily air-freshened, which felt like an attempt to cover up the musty damp smell in some areas.There were three key safes on the front, making entry feel like an escape room, and the flimsy front door lock did not help us feel secure.In its current state, this property falls well below an acceptable standard. I would not recommend staying here.

Its fine for a short stay

Positives: house clean and host responded before travel with any questions. Beds and sofa comfy. Negatives: The biggest is no banister on stairs making it very dangerous for children or elderly. This is not stated on the listing. There was no first aid kit or manual. There were only 2 glasses, 2 teaspoons and insufficient breakfast bowls so we had to take turns eating breakfast. To warn you VRBO take no responsibility for their listings unless you complain whilst still in the property. The area is very run down although you can park on the drive. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with children.
