Stayed Jun 10, 2024We enjoy staying at Bishop's Landing for a quick family trip to the beach. I would give this unit a solid 8/10. While there isn't a grill area for this unit, one of the perks is a screened in porch that backs up to a corn field, giving you a sense of privacy. We had plenty of emails and texts of communication leading up to our arrival and into the first day of arrival. Yet, we were never told upfront of some extensive water leak that had previously happened and therefore, the ceiling drywall was still under construction when we arrived. We ignored it and were able to enjoy our stay without interuption. Something that did interupt our stay was a lack of washcloths. When I text back to ask about this on the second day I was told the cleaning lady took them home to wash. Then I was told the cleaning lady said she left plenty there. I wasn't at the house immediately, (because, well...on vacation) but a few hours later, upon arrival, I immediately text pictures to prove...nope. Ruth apologized and said she would overnight them. We waited the entire next day, but no washclothes, nor a follow-up text (which was weird because the communication before was constant). Turns out they arrived our 4th full day at 6:30pm. While these are not terrible, it is also not the quality I am used to when staying in the Bishop's Landing rentals.

Stayed Nov 28, 2023A much needed, long weekend away with friends. House was lovely. We had a couple of issues with heat and had to contact owner ( I try not to do when away). Issues were resolved in timely manner and to our satisfaction. Thanks to Steve who was able to come quickly to reset heating system and provide good conversation and entertainment!! Thanks Ruth for your speedy replies when we had to contact you. We would definitely stay here again!! It was close to many shops and things to do, but also away from the hustle and bustle of Rehobeth and downtown Bethany.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful home! Very spacious, clean and updated. Lovely screen porch for morning coffee, fun pool for swimming. Comfortable beds, great TVs with surround sound in each room. Home office with a great desk and extra pull out bed. Short drive (10 minutes) into the beach and close to plenty of great restaurants and mini golf. Enjoy!
